My go-to place now when visiting the PV area.
Pros:

This was my second stay at Itare. This time I had an ocean and pool view room on the first floor. Even from the low floor I still had a lovely view, and the pool noise was minimal. The room is well-appointed with a modern design and decoration that is clean and comfortable. I slept on the sofa which was basically a platform single size bed which was also very comfortable.

Cons:

I went to the rooftop each morning to watch the sunrise: it would be nice to have a couple chairs up there.

We had a very comfortable relaxing stay.
Pros:

Friendly, helpful staff. On site cafe. Fast taxi service. Large common pool/outdoor area, always chairs or loungers available. Towels and beach chairs. Large patio off our two bedroom unit. Convenience store very close. Very comfortable walking the area in the evening, feeling safe.

Cons:

Drains in bathroom sometimes had an odour. I was expecting basic supplies like paper towel, salt & pepper/ sugar packets. Lots of construction in surrounding area, but not noisy.

Beautiful room and hotel, close to beach bit far from main town but if enough 20min walk along beach perfect. Some nice restaurants nearby.

I did find very strange this behaviour of staff...

My first morning very early there was incredibly loud building work against wall all morning when I needed to rest. I mentioned this inconvenience to the hotel whose response was "we can't control outside noise" this is odd as it was inside the accommodation which I mentioned in person. Their response then wasn't to apologise in person but to dismiss, which not what I would expect. They offered a late check-out as compensation. But a honest response would have been more effective as things happen but to deny it not a good luck.

Note it is also private apartments not just a hotel.

If it hadn't been for that dishonest staff member would have been a perfect stay.

Pros:

Very spacious with lovely views. Good restaurant next door but it sisdnt open early enough for coffee and tea in the morning!

Fue un viaje en pareja y para ambos la experiencia en el lugar fue lo más cómodo del mundo. El personal fue muy amable desde nuestra llegada, se aseguraron de que nada nos faltara. La cercanía que tienen con el centro y la playa nos permitió aprovechar el día de la mejor forma.
Muy recomendado, tranquilo, buena locación, lugar bello y cómodo.

Property was in an excellent location for walking/taking buses/cabs. Good coffee downstairs and service.

Cons:

The music was on a constant loop of elevator music on the pool side. 11 days of the same music…..could mix it up with some real Mexican music
We had a dog barking non stop above us and staff didn’t seem to do anything about it

Hotel súper bonito y agradable con una excelente atención.
Pros:

El hotel es lindísimo y agradable. La alberca aunque no esta climatizada, esta a una temperatura muy agusto. Tienen un librero con juegos de mesa y varios libros para uso en el lugar. La encargada y todo el equipo es super amable y siempre al pendiente de que todos este bien. Las habitaciones de excelente tamaño, muy bien equipadas con lo que se pueda ocupar para cocinar. Tiene a ladito aunque independiente, un restaurante muy agusto, rico y con buenos precios. Tiene varias áreas muy agradables por si vienes con mas familia. No esta a pie de playa pero tiene un acceso a la playa pública muy muy cerquita caminando y esa zona del mar esta bien tranquilo, sin peligro de que entren niños y que esté riesgoso. Tiene estacionamiento cerrado. Puedes bajar alimentos al mar o a la alberca sin problema, siempre y cuando no sea en recipiente de vidrio. Lo recomiendo al 110% !!!
