Hotel La Casona

When I was a child I used to dream about a house. Now I am 54 and when I get to La Casona I finally met that house. It's a very nice hotel and the staff are very attentive. The hotel decoration is a must, very interesting. My experience there was great. I recommend it for sure.

The basement has a little kitchenette with a two burner stove, a microwave, refrigerator, a sink and bowls, and dishes and pots and pans, which is great for cooking your own food

Always like staying here. The only thing could use improvement is room cleaned more frequently whether longer than 2 day stay and towels changed and toilet paper restocked workout having to ask

Nice location. Quaint.

The room had great A/C. Room was cool in minutes. Had a triple bed room. Was quiet in the evening. Water took about 5 min to get warm for shower. Guest services would not change a 100 sole for a bottle of water. Area outside is dirty, alot of people trying to sell anything, cabs, etc.

This place was nicely situated

They messed up my airport pick up thé driver was delayed and got harassed by all the drivers at the airport. He showed up at the end late when everyone from that flight already left the plane.
My room was downstairs and the staff was not at all respectful they were sitting on the couch outside my door and speaking loud and watching videos on their phone in the evening and morning.
The worst part is the morning they started banging the floor before 8am as they had some maintenance to do with tiles.. unprofessional team..

I liked everything about my stay the staff is very helpful very accommodating always willing to please if I could give them 10 Stars I certainly would

Polite staff and clean room.

Located a block away from the downtown. It’s very safe and homey. Staff were kind and accommodating. You can buy bottled water at the front desk, which is convenient.

Such a amazing hotel, incredibly lovely and helpful stuff, they help carry all luggage to the rooms and we're so friendly and always avaliable. The owner is a incredibly lovely lady who made sure we had e everything we needed and more. Always a pleasure arriving at la casona.

This was my first time staying in a hostel. Before I arrived I vowed never to stay in a hostel, this place changed my mind. It has air conditioning, separate rooms with your own bathroom and hot water. It was clean with towels provided.

The only ugly thing about my stay was that the front desk clerk took the tip I left for the housekeeping. Then when asked about it, he lied and said he was house keeping.

Budget hotel, very basic, but clean and convenient. No breakfast, drinks or food of any description. No windows in the room, which I found a little depressing. Nice courtyard, where you can meet other people. A decent no frills place to stay.

I stayed here several weeks while in Iquitos, nice hotel, pretty clean, lots of art, friendly people…Need a hot shower? I have missed them, La Casona has hot water! Good wifi, great location, close to Plaza de Armas. There is a variety of rooms, doubles, maybe a triple, a/c, fans, even a honey moon suite. You won’t be sorry you checked this one out

I have been here for a night in 2019. I was surprised to have such a great atmosphere right in the middle of noisy Iquitos. Clean, silent place with nice people. Comfortable, easy access to the city. Very satisfied!

Very nice stay for the price! The room was clean. The staff was very nice. The hotel had a nice lobby which was relaxing to wait in. It was just a little noisy but it quiets down from 10pm to 8am when everyone is sleeping. But other than sleeping hours its a little noisy. The wifi was ok, not the fastest but it worked good enough for sending messages and checking up on people, all that I needed. Overall for this price its a great deal and I would stay again!

Hotel location is conveniently located a few blocks from the Amazon River. Staff was really friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. The manager scheduled a taxi to take me to the airport. I was surprised that my driver came to pick me up ahead of schedule. It all worked out so smoothly compared to other hotels I’ve said at in Iquitos. Most importantly it was safe. I enjoyed my stay there. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in Iquitos.

Excellent place to stay with friendly stuff. Clean rooms and during this Covid is the best choice
