Gentillesse du personnel . Vue sur les pyramides au loin

Cons:

Équipement minimaliste. Environnement très bruyant (avenue très passante, Klaxons ) et absence d’insonorisation. Petit-déjeuner à l’égyptienne.

Very nice, helpful staff.
Our requests and shortcomings (detergent, clothes dryer, clothes dryer) were met immediately. Every day they asked if we wanted cleaning or if something needed to be replaced.

Cons:

We asked for a car with a driver to Saqqara at the reception. He was also the transfer driver.

On the way home he recommended a cafe. We got a very high bill, about double, unrealistic.

We paid, but then we saw him taking money from the staff. This was a big disappointment.(photo)

Pros:

La posizione è comoda per visitare le piramidi e il nuovo museo egizio (non a piedi) essendo a Giza.

Cons:

La biancheria da letto aveva capelli/peli di altre persone. Purtroppo le stanze affacciano su una via principale quindi di notte si sente continuamente il traffico che a Giza è costante quindi non si riesce a riposare bene. La colazione non è male ma viene servita direttamente su un tavolo fuori che quindi è sporco, senza posate e sempre in ritardo (facendoci tardare con la guida che ci aspettava)

Very bad!
Pros:

Absolutely nothing! All the pictures you see about this place are deceptive. The location is okey as the Pyramids can bee seen from there.
This place should not be considered as a hotel at all. It looks like a deprived house.
The bedlinen was stinky, very bad strong smell.
Only one towel in the bathroom for everything.
No hangers where to hung coats and other clothes.
Only a kettle and a mug in the room. The kettle was next to the wardrobe, the mug opposite of the room. No any teaspoon neither instant coffee, tea nor bottle of water.
When i woke up in the morning i saw a cockroach on the floor.
No chairs neither table on the balcony.
Overall disappointing. I have never seen such a hotel with so miserable facilities. I had to leave the place after my first night. I was meant to meet up with the manager at the reception and discuss about it and to get some refund unfortunately the manager was gone somewhere and never returned back to the hotel.
I would not recommend this place to anyone!

I would like to report a serious issue regarding my recent experience at Gardenia Roof Hotel in Cairo.

When we arrived, the entrance area was nice and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We also do not have anything against cats, but while going upstairs we noticed a room where some cats were going in and out, and towels seemed to be stored there. It was not a major problem, but it did not feel very hygienic for an accommodation.

The real issue happened when we returned in the late afternoon and discovered that there was no running water. The staff explained that the government had cut the water supply, but they could not say when it would return. We were given bottles of water to wash ourselves, which is not an acceptable solution for paying guests, especially after a full day of excursions.

Additionally, the bathroom amenities were not adequate: there was only one small bar of soap, with no shower gel or shampoo, making the situation even more difficult given that we could not shower properly.

We also had another excursion the next morning and needed to shower again before going to the airport the following day. Without running water, this would have been impossible. The hotel offered us a room until the late afternoon for free, but since there was no guarantee that the water would come back, accepting this option was not helpful.

It also seemed that the hotel is quite small and that some areas were still under construction, which may explain why essential services were not fully guaranteed.

Because of all these issues, we left the property the same evening and found another hotel just a 2-minute walk away with running water available. We therefore did not stay overnight and could not use the service we paid for.

While the staff were kind, the situation was not acceptable for tourists, and a basic service such as water was not provided.

Obłędny widok z balkonu, dobry kontakt z obsługą. Dobry stosunek jakości do ceny. Blisko piramid i Muzeum Egipskiego.

Cons:

W pokoju brakowało podstawowych przedmiotów takich jak pościel, szklanki czy w odpowiedniej ilości papieru toaletowego . Jednak po zgłoszeniu tego obsłudze wszystko dostaliśmy. Ulica przy której stoi hotel bardzo hałaśliwa, więc dobrze mieć zatyczki do uszu.
