The owner is friendly and welcoming. He had endless knowledge of the area and is super passionate about olive oil and Greece. He also cooks a super good omelette for breakfast, and we got to enjoy really fresh orange juice.
Also good hot water with decent pressure.

Accueil très chaleureux et généreux de Dimitri, qui nous a accueilli avec une petite collation et un verre de vin. Il a mis à notre disposition une grande chambre chacune au lieu d'une chambre à 2 lits pour le même prix avec cuisine. Une personne disponible, intelligente,d'excellent contact, attirant l'affection, disposant d'une personnalité peu commune et très ouverte aux autres. Nous l'avons beaucoup apprécié au point d'avoir un petit pincement en le quittant. De plus il parle aisément anglais, français et grec.

Jim was very friendly , generous and shared local information over breakfast with him. Short walk to supermarket and restaurants. Was a basic room of good size with shared kitchen and bathroom and the use of washing machine and drying on kitchen balcony a real plus

The host Dimitri very welcoming and accommodating. Tells great stories. Cool decorations throughout.
Rooms themselves are good, key system easy.
Location very good next to a supermarket and good restaurants / pizzerias

Dimitri est un hôte formidable, grâce à lui notre séjour en Grèce a débuté de la meilleure des manières, nous avons été accueilli avec un verre de rosé et des fruits frais
Le lendemain, petit déjeuner préparé par ses soins et longue discussion sur les bienfaits de la vie en Grèce, ses produits et sur les activités au alentours
L'établissement en lui même est très propre, bien agencé, étant en basse saison nous avons eu un étage entier réservé au lieu de seulement la chambre

Jim was very friendly and helpful, also happens to make like the best omelette in the world. Very nice hospitality, very comfortable and cozy rooms in a nice neighborhood. We had a very pleasant stay and will be definitely visiting again in the future!

We had a very pleasant stay. The building was newly renovated, the rooms were clean and cozy.
The host went beyond our expectations offering our big family extra space, delicious breakfast that was not included in the room rate, and valuable information about attractions around even without our request.

Dimitri is the nicest person we have met in the trip so far, the place feels like a home, I only regret I could only stay there for a day. It is a humble and quiet neighborhood and the sights are unpaired.

Great size room, the balcony is fantastic, great spot to sit and chill and just watch the mountains. Easy walk to plenty of restaurants or supermarkets for groceries. The host is a really great guy, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thanks Dimitri. He bought the old building a few years ago and has renovated it. I booked here last minute because of a mix up with dates at a different place, I wish I'd spent longer here. Overall great stay, would stay again if I was back in Sparta.

Located in quite a busy residential area, we arrived early and the welcome couldn't have been better, the owner is from America and so enthusiastic. This is his project and while basic in many respects, and with no frills, it clean, tidy and excellent value for what we paid. The owner could not have been more welcoming, we were the only guests due to the season, and were given an apartment ourselves rather than a room in one, so we benefitted from well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The whole place could benefit from long-term investment and that may be the owner's aim, but the beauty of the place was its authenticity and cheap cost; his priority is welcoming guests with comfortable, good value accommodation. We were provided with beautiful local oil, honey & oregano and given lovely pastries were delivered next morning. Given what we paid, we couldn't have asked for more.

We booked a room for a family with 1 child and were amazed by the fully equipped appartment we got in the hotel of Dimitri (for a very low price compared to other places). We had our own hallway, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with double bed and another room with a single bed... and 2 balconies of which one faced the inner courtyard which has a beautiful orchard of orange trees. The place was clean, quiet and had all we needed. The location is convenient as the heart of the city is only a few minutes walk away. There is free parking on the street. Dimitri gave us a sample of his olive oil and honey to take with us which was very sweet and in the morning we were surprised with a breakfast which gave us a very nice start of the day.
The double bed was quite hard but we were happy with that.

Dimitri is a surprising landlord! He gives you hints to various places for shopping and eating and can tell you details about neighbouring places. He also offered me a sample of the olive oil he sells (very good!) and some mega juicy oranges, all, of course, in organic quality! By the way, the central square is about a 15 minutes walk away ...

Jim is a fantastic host who made this place feel like home. He offered an entire apartment (low season) without extra charge, had everything super clean and ready for my stay and even gifted some of his homemade products and home-produced olive oil! Very internationally friendly, met people from all around the globe.

Sitting at the balcony in the afternoon breeze under the sun in that serene neighborhood is the perfect setting for relaxation.

Phenomenal place and host, the definition of Greek hospitality! Couldn't recommend more.
