sehr schönes und gutes hotel mit sehr freundlichen personal -und ein guter barmann ! kongress perfek

die lage idt perfekt - man erreicht jeden ort in bad ischl innerhalb von 15 minuten - ideal ist die lage wenn man so wie ich einen kongress im kongress und theaterhaus hat - aber auch etwas ausserhalb gelegene orte wie den lodenfrey park mit seinem trachtenoutlet erreicht man gut zu fuß

Zentrale Lage

Cons:

In der Villa Seilern befindet sich lediglich ein Restaurant und das Frühstücksbuffet. Die Unterkunft selbst erfolgt im Haus neben an, welches in Ausstattung,Sauberkeit und Personal betreffend, eher einer Herberge als einem 4-Sterne Haus entspricht. Es handelt sich bei diesem Haus um ein Partnerhotel der Merkur-Versicherung. Leider war das bei der Buchung nicht erkennbar.
Als Kongressbesucher wäre ich im gegenüberliegenden Grand Hotel besser aufgehoben gewesen- das Zimmer dort wäre sogar um 70 Euro günstiger!

Pros:

Wir hatten einen rundum angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das gesamte Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein großes Lob gilt auch der Haustechnik die extrem bemüht ist, alles in Schuss zu halten! Die Lage ist einfach perfekt: absolut ruhig gelegen, aber mit ein paar Schritten zu Fuß steht man schon mitten im Herzen von Bad Ischl. Auch das Frühstück hat uns begeistert, es gibt eine große Auswahl und die Qualität ist wirklich top.

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, wir waren leider nur zwei Nächte und konnten nicht alles ausprobieren. Die Lage ist schön gelegen, alles war leicht zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer waren sauber,auch der Spa Bereich ist sehr angenehm, Bademantel und Badetücher standen schon im Zimmer bereit. Wir werden bald wieder kommen.

Das Haus war schon besser. Schade.

Die Lage.

Cons:

Kein Teekocher am Zimmer und nur ein Stuhl am Balkon. Im Restaurant hat uns der Kellner bei einem Abendessen mit Freunden mehrmals im Gespräch mit unwichtigen Belangen unterbrochen. So ein Service habe ich noch nie erlebt.

Schöne Wellnessanlage.

Cons:

Umweltschutz wird gross geschrieben, was wir durchaus begrüssen. Dann sollten die Tücher aber nicht ausgewechselt werden, wenn sie aufgehängt sind.
Beim Abendessen wurden die Nachbarntische abgeräumt, mit einem stinkenden Desinfektionspray besprüht und geputzt. Das war nicht besonders aufmerksam, wenn andere Leute noch am Essen sind.
