Pros:

At Pingnakorn Nimman Hotel, the location is pretty good. It is at the end of the soi and very easily accessible. The staff has a great service mind. The room size is a standard size, and the facility and amenities are almost complete, except no toothbrush is provided. The local Northern breakfast line is really nice.

Cons:

Only about the elevator that will start on the 2nd floor, not the first floor, and stop on the alternative floors, not every floor. So, if anyone plans to stay here for a long time with very large luggage, this hotel is not suitable for that.

Hot showers are provided; however, it was not that easy to control the temperature. Either extremely hot or cold; difficult to maintain the balance of temperature.

The room was not soundproof. If you have a sleeping problem, you need to consider having earplugs.

Solid location, good price
Pros:

Location: Right in the centre of Nimman, amazing location, coffee shops and food is near you, and it’s not on a busy loud street which is great. Taxis on Grab are super cheap anyways.

Service: Very friendly reception, answered all my questions, and helped me with laundry (a company does this for you, 100 - 200 baht for a good amount of clothes, very cheap).



Sleep: Thin walls but thankfully my neighbours were peaceful, cannot promise you’ll have the same experience. Hard bed but honestly still comfortable. The rooms are massive here which gives you a “premium” sort of feeling, as it feels like a large air b&b and not a small hotel room.



Food: I only got the breakfast included. I have no breakfast or a very light one, so all I ate was fruit. I wish their fruit selection was wider (it was only watermelon, papaya and pineapple) which is very limited, but the quality of fruit was tasty.

Overall: For the price, I honestly had a great experience and I would come here again if I return to Chiang Mai.

It was pleasant, I liked the cottage-core design of the hotel’s interior. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
Pros:

We booked the double room ensuite. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were of decent size. I’m a muslim so I requested halal food for breakfast and the staff were very accommodating and made me tasty eggs and vegetables separately each day. Additionally luckily for me, there was a halal thai restaurant nearby ( around an 8 minute walk).

Cons:

We arrived 5 hours early to our check in time and requested to check in early but our request was denied understandably. They informed us that there are still guests in the room but told us we could check in an hour earlier. Also, the exterior could use some remodelling. The hotel was a little far from the shopping mall. We had to walk around 20 minutes to reach the shopping mall. Also the the rooms should have small bins in them, we made our own bins out of plastic bags because we didn’t find any.

Frequent flights and noise related to that. Since the hotel is closer to the airport. Would suggest sound proof windows in the future

Convenient and comfortable stay if you're a heavy sleeper
Pros:

Very clean hotel in a convenient location. There were lots of food options nearby, and the hotel breakfast was also quite good. Staff was incredibly helpful and kind.

Cons:

Beds were a little on the hard side, and do be warned that because the hotel is quite near to the airport, you regularly hear planes overhead. They usually stop around midnight or so, but it often made it hard for my partner to fall asleep at night since he's a light sleeper.
