Lovely old style hotel but with modern day comforts and great atmosphere
Pros:

Old fashioned hotel in busy part of Freemantle that made a nice change from more recent hotels.

Cons:

Parking was expensive and it was very noisy but that’s why I stayed there for the atmosphere. I understand not ever would want that.

Pros:

Great get away spot
Pros:

A fantastic, easy-to-reach location and a great place to stay — central to almost everything, including the train to Perth. Even with a bar downstairs, our front room was quiet at night and we slept really well. The shared kitchen has a very small fridge that was already full of guests’ food, so storing anything cold was tricky, and there are no extra fridges in the building. The room itself was very spacious with a large, comfortable bed. Just be aware there are lots of stairs and no lift, which can make heavy luggage a bit challenging.

Cons:

There’s no parking on-site, and when I pulled up briefly to ask where I should park, I ended up getting a parking ticket. I was away from the car for no more than five minutes, so that was really frustrating. The shared kitchen also only has a very small fridge that was already full of other guests’ food, making it hard to store anything cold. There are quite a lot of stairs and no lift, which can make carrying heavy luggage difficult.
