Hospedaje Tinkus

The room is very big, bed comfortable and the location is great. That said, the sheets had a lot of stains on them, there was absolutely NO hot water for a shower, and the breakfast that was promised to us for our early departure was not delivered. Not worth the price they charge to risk not being able to take a shower!

We used Hospedaje Tinkus as a base to explore Miraflores and Lima Centro and were not disappointed. Nicely placed in the center of Miraflores.
Though a bit noisy at times, we didn't regret booking this.

Located in Miraflores within walking distance of Parque Kennedy. I was very pleased with the location. The hotel has about 15 rooms and while it doesn’t have flair it’s a good place for a 2-3 night stay. A good value hotel.

This little hotel has a great location and a very friendly and accommodating staff. The room itself was very small and uncomfortable. The price is very reasonable for the area where it is located. Do not expect any kind of luxury.

Hospedaje Tinkus is a good place to stay if you are looking for a place in Lima that is affordable. First, this hotel is in a great location. You can walk to the Kennedy Plaza in about 5 minutes. Their are many restaurants within walking distance of hotel and as well as a grocery store nearby. It's very easy to get transportation from here to central of Lima, which is about 20 minutes away. Second, even though the room was small, we had a warm shower each day, comfy bed and felt safe here. Third, the breakfast was good. I'm vegetarian and was as to eat a bowl of local fruits with toast and some coca tea or coffee. Would definitely recommend hotel. Only bad part was that at check-out I was notified I had to pay for my 2 night stay. I was surprised because when I booked with expedia it showed me how much I got charged on my card and didn't say I would get charged at the end of my stay. The guy at the desk said Expedia only holds your room. Just so you know!

Great place to stay, everyone is very helpful. The location is perfect if your looking to be close to good restaurants and the ocean.

The staff at Hospedaje Tink us were great, very nice and friendly. They gave us great restaurant recommendations and told us about different sights to see and things to do in the area. I cannot say the same for the hotel we stayed at before Tinkus. Also, the location is great. It's a short walk to the ocean in one direction, or shops and restaurants in the other. Our room was nice, very cute, with a living room area in addition to the bedroom and bathroom that was a nice surprise. We would definitely stay here again.

Its a good hostel/hotel. The helpful staff is really what took our experience from good to great, they were so friendly and informative. Breakfast is nice and the overall layout of the place is really cool and pretty. Our room was nice (it was the comfortable double), but it was hot and a bit musty because of no air conditioning - but what do you want for the reasonable price for the area? The room was very clean on the surface but a few 'deep cleaning' things were not taken care of (unfortunately this is more a result of the gross people that must have stayed there before smearing things on the furniture that the cleaning person probably didn't consider looking for). But again, for the price, we were more than happy, and it was a very nice way to start our time in Lima. You can't beat the location or the staff.
