The smallest hotel in Amsterdam

Ότι χειρότερο υπάρχει στο Άμστερνταμ !!!!!ότι σου προσφέρει είναι ψέμα!!ποντικια ,βρωμια ,κρύα δωμάτια χωρίς θέρμανση σπασμένες ντουλάπες και αντικείμενα !!!χωρίς χώρο στάθμευσης!!!!παραπλανητικές φωτογραφίες !!!δεν το συστήνω ούτε στον χειρότερο εχθρό μου!

The worst experience.
First of all, the room did not match the photos I saw on Booking. It was dirty everywhere, there were spiders, and the room was located in the basement, something that was not shown in the photos. The bathroom smelled bad, and the tap was broken and leaking.
The worst part was the mouse we saw in the room, as well as the trap that was there.
It is unacceptable that this hotel is offered for rent.

However, I had requested another room which I did not get. We got the basement room which was ok but right next to the street….we were woken up three or four times by screaming drunks through the night! I am a light sleeper and even with earplugs it sounded like people were in our room! Also the sink in the bathroom was broken and it make a very high beeping sound ( the pipes) when turned on and off. We had to find the trick to shut it off. It really should be fixed. So the location and price seemed reasonable and we are looking for a place to regularly use during our visits to Amsterdam we were hoping this could be our place. I am sure it would have been different in another room. We had bad luck.

Everything was perfect

We are regular travellers who have stayed in all types of accommodation all around the world and visit Amsterdam 3times a year. We have never ever experienced anything like this place. We stayed in October and it’s actually traumatised me and I’ve found it difficult trusting other listings now knowing places like this exist and are on a trusted platform like booking.com. I’ve also found it hard to bring myself to leave a review because I still feel very upset about it and don’t want to relive it so I’m not going to go into too much detail. My experience was very similar to the other reviews (the good ones I can only imagine are made by bots). Below acceptable hygiene standards that made us leave feeling dirty and very worried regarding bed bugs as we were covered in bites and bed area was so dirty. We stayed in the top room and it’s so dimly lit so you don’t see how dirty everything is when you first arrive if in winter as it’s dark. We needed the owner as we had an issue non of the numbers for him worked until 10pm he then arrived at our room after midnight drunk, condescending and being very intimidating. I did not feel safe here at all. Horrible experience that even a refund wouldn’t compensate but I had no luck with this either. Wish I had seen the bad reviews before booking but I booked it back at the beginning of the year when the reviews were still good, perhaps under different management then.
