Wir haben uns so wohl wie lange nicht mehr gefühlt.
Pros:

Hotels dieser Art gibt es kaum noch im deutschsprachigen Raum, da sie einfach zu teuer im Unterhalt und in der Anpassung an die heutigen Bedürfnisse sind.
Hier ist das perfekt gelungen.
Dazu muß man wissen, daß es sich um ein altes Gebäude (Denkmalschutz!) aus dem 19. Jahrhundert handelt, welches umfassend, aber behutsam modernisiert worden ist, um so viel wie möglich vom Flair der Belle Epoque zu erhalten.
Das Treppenhaus wurde erhalten und hat die wundervollen flachen, breiten Stufen. So baut man heute leider nicht mehr.
Die Zimmer sind eine wunderschöne Kombination aus neu und alt und sehr kofortabel.
Im Hotel gibt es einen wunderschönen Außenpool auf dem Dach eines geschickt integrierten Anbaus, direkt am Wasserfall.
Das Frühstück und wenn man wünscht auch das Abendbrot bekommt man in einem unvergleichlichen Ambiente, einem riesigen, hohen, wunderschönen Saal, der auch in ein Schloß passen würde. Man fühlt sich in die Kaiserzeit zurückversetzt.
Bezüglich der Speisen und Getränke: Alles war vorhanden, alles und in hervorragender Qualität.
Dazu dezente Musik und wir wurden aufmerksam aber nie aufdringlich bedient.
Auch sonst ist das Personal in allen Bereichen einfach super.

Top freundliche Begrüssung mit Sekt. Sauna in unserem Zimmer , das ganze Ambiente mit Worten nicht zu beschreiben. Alles bin ins kleinste Detail vorhanden. Beim Abendessen wird man bedient wie ein Kaiser. Wellnessbereich absolut ein Traum . Frühstück einfach unglaublich lecker , ich komme wieder

A wonderful stay. Modern design hotel that also celebrates and honour its history. Incredible pool.
Pros:

Beautifully renovated hotel. Outstanding location. Incredible breakfast. Spacious room and outstanding bathroom. Everything was wonderful. Amazing pool and spa.

We had to wait about 30 mins to be collected from train station.

10 Punkte sind zu wenig, wenn ich könnte, würde ich 12 Punkte vergeben. Es war einfach wunderbar! Wir kommen garantiert wieder, weil es so schön war! Alles war gepflegt und hat herrlich gerochen.

Das A-ROSA Straubinger Grand Hotel in Bad Gastein ist ein echtes Grand Hotel mit tollem Service, schönen Zimmern, einem großartigen Wellness/SPA-Bereich und einem sehr guten Restaurant. Besonders die Verbindung des alten historischen Gebäudes mit modernen Elementen und allen Annehmlichkeiten, die man heutzutage von einem Grand Hotel erwartet, ist sehr gelungen.

Pros:

Die Lage und die Geschichte von dem Hotel. Die Mischung aus altem Prunk und modernem Design.

Cons:

Es hat alles gepasst. Das Abendessen im Hotel war okay, aber nicht hervorragend. Aber das macht die Stimmung wieder wett. Und das Frühstück war sehr gut!

Heel mooi hotel, eetzaal, bar en kamer. Heel chic!
Pros:

Het hotel is prachtig, mooie eetzaal, bar en slaapkamer.
Ontvangst is heel vriendelijk! We kregen champagne, een rode roos en rondleiding door het hotel

Cons:

Geen airco op de kamer. Als je ramen open zet, maakt de waterval te veel herrie om te slapen.

Der warme Infinity-Pool über dem Wasserfall ist wunderbar, die Zimmer geschmackvoll, zurückhaltend, modern und komfortabel eingerichtet.
Ausgezeichnete Bettenqualität!

Cons:

Leider fordern mittlerweile aufwändige Sicherheitsvorschriften ihren Tribut und beeinträchtigen die ursprüngliche filigrane und elegante Architektur. Hierfür ist der Betreiber aber nicht zu kritisieren.
