Sunshine Azure Zanzibar Beach Hotel

Nous avons en réalité séjourné au Sunshine Bay, qui est un peu plus au nord, dans une petite baie isolée à marée haute. Une navette permet d'aller aux trois hôtels du groupe pour profiter des piscines, déjeuner ou dîner. C'est sympa parce que sur plusieurs jours ça permet de changer de restaurant. Le Azure est le seul qui soit sur la grande plage de Matemwe, avec à proximité d'autres bars et restaurants. Nous y étions durant le ramadan donc c'était très calme le soir, un peu trop.

On our first day, the breakfast and the dinner was a bit letdown and we gave the feedback, what surprised us was that the management and the executive chef took the feedback constructively and immediately acted to give us a positive experience. Later on, thourghout our stay the foods have been amazing!
Definitely recommend to book your special dinner with them - the staffs (especially, Happiness) know how to make it even more beautiful. Thanks for the lovely stay in Zanzibar.

De locatie was heerlijk rustig met een prachtig uitzicht vanaf het zwembad. Ook onze kamers hadden een prachtig uitzicht over het zwembad en de zee. Het ontbijt was lekker. De keuzes uit meerdere soorten ei was erg goed. Als je niet van ei houdt is het lastig, want de rest van de keuzes waren beperkt

Vriendelijk personeel, in het bijzonder Hapiness. Ze was ontzettend klantvriendelijk!

The breakfast varied, all meals with friendly and helpful staff - special Jacob. He always makes his best to make your stay as memorable as could, even in every little thing. Feel free to turn him. But every staff nice and smiling, The hotel situated just right on the best part of the ocean, with tropical well cared garden. You also can go to the other two partner hotels by the hotel own shuttle bus, anytime during the day if you need some new. The hotel has own generator which is very useful the daily blackout so it does not affect your comfort. Thank you to the entire Sunshine Azure team for making our stay very enjoyable.

We recently celebrated our anniversary and birthdays at Sunshine Azura Hotel, and honestly, it was beyond anything we expected. From the moment the team learned about our special occasion, they went above and beyond to make it truly memorable.

The room arrangements were absolutely beautiful — thoughtfully decorated with such care and attention to detail that it immediately made us feel special and celebrated. It wasn’t just decoration; it felt personal and heartfelt.

The dinner setup was equally stunning. The table was perfectly arranged for celebration, creating a romantic and joyful atmosphere that made our evening unforgettable. The staff ensured everything ran smoothly, and their kindness and professionalism really stood out.

What touched us most was the unexpected upgrade to a honeymoon suite once they knew we were celebrating our anniversary. That gesture meant so much to us and showed a level of hospitality that is rare to find.
