Don Jon ist ein perfekter Gastgeber.. ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt, die Finca ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und bietet viele Orte zum Entspannen und Verweilen, Vögel beobachten und Ruhe genießen.

Outstanding, beautiful, amazing
Pros:

The location is near the airport, however, the magic of this place is that it feels that you are deep inside in the Colombian mountains, away from the city noise and activities. This hotel is in the middle of a well established ex-farm surrounded by mature trees, exotic beautiful plants, and the tranquility of nature. The internet connectivity is excellent. Breakfast is served with love by Yeli (the hotel attendant) who is part of the magic that makes this place special.

My go-to place when staying at Rio Negro/Guarne.
Pros:

The warm and kind human touch in the customer service. It really saved my trip twice.

Cons:

The hill at the entrance was a needed fitness test. To me it was harder than going up all the stairs in Guatape. If you forget something in the room and have to go walk all the way up to the gate again, that hill will become one of your unforgettable memories of your trip. 😂
