I chose a radison believing it would be able to cope with English speaking people.
We needed google translate to check in

On the outside of the building we expected to see the Radison name in English not Chinese so had difficulty identifying the hotel

The stay was generally awesome
Pros:

The VPN ensured that my connectivity was not interrupted. The proximity to the metro station is also very good.
The breakfast is also great .
The General manager was very helpful

Cons:

The staff do not assist guests with luggage.

Für eine Geschäftsreise gut geeignet
Pros:

Das Frühstück war lecker und super vielfältig, ein Riesenbuffet. Auch Europäer fanden etwas, sogar gesundes, frisches dunkles Brot, frische Früchte, Salat, diverse Eierspeisen. Das chinesische Buffet war riesig!
Das Frühstück ist in einem Raum mit viel Licht und schönesr Aussicht.
Auch das Zimmer und die Sicht waren überwältigend.
Die Registrierungsmöglichkeit im Hotel für die Canton Fair war super!

Cons:

Das Hotel ist abseits gelegen, grad neben dem Bahnhof, deshalb gut erreichbar, wenn man in andere Städte mit dem Zug reisen will. Wenn man Guangzhou entdecken möchte, muss man jedes Mal eine rechte Strecke mit der Metro fahren, da würde sich ein Hotel an einer zentraleren Lage besser eignen.
Es hat rund ums Hotel viele Autobahnen und weitere Hotels und vor allem chinesische Restaurants und Imbisse.
Achtung, nehmt am Bahnhof kein Taxi zum Hotel - es ist wirklich nur grad ein paar Hundert Meter zum Laufen. Die Taxifahrer dort sind aber echt mühsam!
Der Shuttlebus an die Canton Fair wird nur um 8 Uhr morgens und zurück um 18 Uhr am Abend angeboten.
Die Canton Fair ist aber sehr gut mit der Metro erreichbar.

Nice hotel and good location if you want to go by rail
Pros:

We did not have breakfast because we have to leave for the station very early. The location was good as well as the hotel because it is very near to the station. The at is the reason we choose the hotel.

Absolutely beautiful.
Pros:

Spotless clean, good facilities , very proactive manager , Damon Ling, my friend forgot his phone in the bus as we travelled for the Canton fair in the morning, we got in touch with Damon, he sorted everything for us with so much professionalism in no time. Excellent manager 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
