Nice accommodation, bad guided tour.
Pros:

Great location, even tho the road to the place gives you an adrenaline rush. The accommodation was nice, dinner and breakfast were really tasty.

Cons:

We got offered a tour with a guide. We agreed to pay 10 JD per person as an entrance fee to the Dana reserve (it is mandatory as Dana is not included in the Jordan pass), and something extra for the guide. We wanted to go to the visitor center to buy the tickets, but we were told multiple times not to.
The guide was not good, took us to a different location than initially agreed on, was always on the phone, and was three hundred meters behind. Even tho we asked many times, we didn´t receive any ticket, invoice, or anything proving the entrance fee was paid.
We would recommend buying a ticket and doing your trips here on your own.

Ammar is kind and welcoming, and the whole experience was excellent.
Cons:

I really enjoyed my stay at Dana Horizon Hotel. The rooms were warm and cozy, which made the evenings very comfortable. The hiking tours were beautiful and well organized — I truly loved the nature around Dana.

Dinner was very tasty and felt homemade. Overall, it was a lovely experience and I would definitely come back again

Le site est magnifique. Les chambres typiques en pierre mais il ne faut pas être frileux à cette saison car pas de chauffage et il fait froid. Nous avons pris le dîner sur place, cuisine et par la maman tbon et copieux. Oui

Ideální místo pro ty, kdo dají přednost romantice před komfortem a evropskými standarty.
Pros:

Ubytování je hezky umístěno, je snadné z něj začít výlet do rezervace.
Domy jsou hezké a působí historicky. Pan domácí byl přátelský a snažil reagovat na naše požadavky (chybějící deka, netekoucí teplá voda, rozbité topení), ovšem ne vždy s úspěchem.

Cons:

Měli jsme pokoj v přízemí. V pokoji byla zima a plynové topení, které v pokoji bylo, špatně fungovalo. Pan domácí jiné neměl. Peřiny nejsou povlečené a není k dispozici ani prostěradlo navíc, kterým by se člověk přikryl a nahoru si dal deky. O povlečení jsme si nepožádali, protože v jiných recenzích (které jsem si přečetla až na místě) se píše, že jim je stejně nedali.
Koupelna je jedna velká katastrofa. Teplá voda tekla až když jsme požádali domácího, aby nám ukázal, jak na to. Pustil kohoutek, zvládnul dva telefonáty a po opravdu nekonečné době začala téct. Jestli volal někomu ať nám ji někde pustí, nebo bylo jen potřeba ji nechat extrémně dlouho odtéct, to bohužel nevím. My jsme ji tak dlouho sami odtéct nenechali, protože voda je v Jordánsku vzácná a nechtěli jsme plýtvat.
Koupelna je opravdu špatně vyřešená, pokud se člověk sprchuje tak je pak celá koupelna mokrá, včetně prostoru u záchodu, protože odtok je na opačné straně místnosti než sprcha a záchod je mezi sprchou a odtokem. Nebyl k dispozici ani hadr nebo stěrka na podlahu (o tu jsme si pak požádali a dostali jsme ji), takže nezbývalo než čekat až to uschne a mezitím nechodit na toaletu v ponožkách, protože bychom je měli úplně mokré. Plus je v koupelně plíseň na zdi.
Měli jsme snídani v ceně - jednalo o se klasickou jordánskou snídani formou švédských stolů.
Pokud si chcete na místě dát večeři, cena je 10 JD/os. Na místní poměry je to velice drahá večeře, která za nás ceně neodpovídala. Dali jsme si za zlomek ceny ve městě výborné pečené kuře (podnik byl otevřený i během Ramadánu). Bohužel takhle to může vyřešit jen ten, kdo je na místě vlastním autem.

Pros:

La struttura si trova appena fuori dalla piccola cittadina di Dana con una bella vista sulla vallata di fronte, tutto è andato benissimo. Da segnalare la cena e la colazione deliziose e sopratutto una particolare menzione alla gentilezza di Ammar che è stata davvero commovente. Se siete alla ricerca di un posto tranquillo e autentico l' avete trovato , non perdete tempo e prenotate, grazie ancora Ammar.

Hostitel Ammar byl skvělý a večeře výborná.
Pros:

Ubytování bylo velmi pohodlné a bylo vidět, že je věnována pozornost každému detailu. Hostitel Ammar byl nesmírně milý a starostlivý, po celou dobu se snažil, abychom se cítili co nejlépe. Večeře byla naprosto výjimečná – velmi chutná, pestrá a připravená s velkou péčí, která odráží skutečnou pohostinnost. Také snídaně byla výborná a bohatá. Celkově to byl opravdu krásný zážitek
