Accordingly, we would like to inform you that Sky Pool is temporarily closed starting from February 5th until February 14th, 2024, for uplifting. We appreciate your kind understanding.

In accordance with government regulations, starting July 1, 2023, an additional 1% tourism fee will be charged on the room rate per night, with a maximum of 50 EGP per person per night. Please take this into consideration when planning your stay with us. Thank you for your understanding.

Sky Pool Closure: Effective February 6th, 2025, the Sky Pool will be closed for one week due to unplanned maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

I will stay in Fairmont anytime I visit Cairo again.
Pros:

All the facilities were great and staff was brilliant, they couldn’t do enough for us. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fairmont.

Cons:

Food however though need a little bit of work. When you look at the menu it looks great but when the food arrives, the taste profile doesn’t meet the expectations. It could be because of the availability of ingredients or ingredients used, so you can’t blame the hotel or the chef.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Zimmer wieder immer super aufgeräumt und man hat sich im Hotel sicher und wohl gefühlt

Cons:

Während der Ramadan Zeit gibt es in 2 Restaurants „nur“ ein buffet und erst ab 21 Uhr a la cart, was ich leider etwas schade bzw einschränkend fand, besonders wenn man länger im Hotel bleibt. Das Zimmer wirkt teils etwas veraltet

A haven of peace…
Pros:

Hotel offering high-end amenities and attentive, personalized service. We had booked a Fairmont Gold suite and were upgraded to a Fairmont Premium suite on the 21st floor. Access to the lounge is a real plus. Our daughter really enjoyed the rooftop pool. The Asian restaurant is very good, and the room service is efficient. The breakfast is plentiful. A haven of peace on the banks of the Nile.

Cons:

Some mention that the area around the hotel is noisy. Cairo is a dynamic city, like Paris or New York.

Das Hotel ist bis ins Detail perfekt organisiert und gepflegt. Das am besten organisierte Fairmont das ich kenne.

Cons:

Das italienische Restaurant L‘Uvieto sollte nicht erst ab 09:30 pm al la carte anbieten. Schade.
