La ubicación al lado mismo de la entrada de Petra , el buen precio y el desayuno
Cuesta un poco de subir a la cabina de arriba, y es algo difícil de encontrar si vas en coche, pero en general el alojamiento está muy bien y lo recomendaría sin duda
Fine in general, but there is a very small cabin place to sleep
The pod sleeping was comfortable. Overall it was good value. The staff were very nice and helpful. I had a great night sleep.
This was not as advertised on booking. I selected the “private room with 2 king beds”. There are no private rooms, only one large dorm area with pods. I showed the manager and he put me and my son in 2 smaller pods which was fine. Please know that this is a hostel with no private rooms despite the way it is advertised on booking.
Breakfast is borderline. We ordered takeout lunches for Petra. They were comically bad as follows: a hotdog bun with jam, 2 slices of pita, a tiny cheese triangle in tinfoil, whole medium tomato uncut, whole smaller cucumber uncut (nothing to cut them), hard boiled egg x1, orange that was green, chocolate sponge bar, juice packet, water. I would not eat there more than absolutely necessary.
My stay at Petra Inbox Hostel was truly amazing! The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed — from giving tips about Petra to helping me plan transportation. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the common areas had a really nice atmosphere where you can meet other travelers.
The location is excellent — just a few minutes’ walk from the Petra Visitor Center, which makes it super convenient. The rooftop terrace is a perfect place to relax after exploring, with beautiful views and a peaceful vibe. Breakfast was delicious and fresh every morning, and the price was really good for what you get.
Overall, it felt like home away from home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Petra!

Staff piuttosto sgradevole, soprattutto il ragazzo. Struttura molto brutta. Loculo brutto e durante il giorno diventa una serra a causa del sole. Nell'annuncio parlava di due letti, in realtà era un solo loculo matrimoniale. Cibo molto scarso. Decisamente il peggior soggiorno in Giordania (nella stessa fascia di prezzo. Per lo stesso prezzo si può trovare decisamente meglio.

Clean and friendly staffs.
Very quiet with lots of rules to keep it(not speaking in the room and 6am-11pm bath time, etc.)
Location is high to go up, and reception room on 4th floor but room on 3rd floor, climb a lot.
The fare to use the kitchen is bit high as 3jd per time.

I had a fantastic experience at Petra Inbox Hostel. The location is unbeatable—just a few minutes’ walk from the Petra Visitor Centre, which made it super convenient for early morning exploration. The capsule-style beds were surprisingly comfortable and clean, offering just the right amount of privacy.
What truly made the stay special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and went out of their way to help with anything I needed. They gave great tips for visiting Petra and even offered a delicious lunch box option for the hike.
The entire hostel was very clean, the atmosphere was cozy, and the shared spaces were perfect for meeting other travelers. It’s excellent value for money, especially considering the facilities like lockers, Wi-Fi, and even an optional shuttle service.
Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Petra, especially solo travelers or backpackers looking for a friendly, well-located, and affordable place to stay. I’ll definitely come back
