Really good staff couldn’t be more helpful and the beds were comfortable
Pros:

I loved the balcony it was badly needed in the heat
Beds were very comfortable

Cons:

Was a little tight for space but most places in Amsterdam are, it’s the only tiny drawback

Great little hotel
Pros:

Excellent location with multiple trams and an Albert Heijn across the street. The staff were so friendly and helpful! Our room was bright and airy with a nice balcony and a very comfortable bed.

Cons:

Just be aware that there is no AC or elevator. We had a first floor room and the weather was cool, but those could be problems in hotter weather or if you had a higher floor - the stairs are very typically Dutch steep and shallow.

Staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful. I did not get what I paid for.

Cons:

The staff were incredibly rude. We arrived to be told there was no room available as we arrived one day later than booking. I showed correspondence from the hotel that clearly stated, “we will make a note in our system, you will not be considered a no show, there is nothing more you need to do”. Staff argued for almost an hour with me despite seeing this correspondence on their own messages. We had to change rooms during our stay and did not get what I paid for- no compensation. During the stay we had our Eurostar trip cancelled to London. I only had data on my phone and couldn’t make a local phone call. Staff refused to let me use a phone and sent me to a phone repair shop. Thankfully the local post office were happy to help, but stated, ‘you are staying in a very bad hotel’. I agreed,

It would have been okay in the winter or off season. Definitely not a good place to stay in the sum.

Pros:

Badezimmer sehr klein aber gute Qualität.

Cons:

Für 225 Euro keine Aircondition in diesem Haus geht einfach nicht.
Wir hatten 4 Nächte immer klar über 32 Grad im Zimmer!
Da ist nichts mit Schlafen.

Pros:

Das Zimmer hatte alles, was man so braucht. Es gibt kostenlosen Kaffee unten bei der Rezeption und Instankkaffee und Teebeutel auf dem Zimmer.

Cons:

War allerdings etwas zu teuer. Gut, es war auch eine gefragte Reisezeit, und doch war es etwas überzogen. Und es gibt kein Fahrstuhl nach oben. Der Herr an der Rezeption half uns zwar, das Gepäck zu tragen, aber es ist definitiv nicht ohne. Beim Checkout mussten wir mit Gepäck die enge und steile Treppe runter und da war es mir schon etwas mulmig.

Spacious
Pros:

Room is spacious and beds are moderately comfortable. The room had a kitchenette which included a fridge. They had complementary water and sweets as well as tea, etc. The bathroom had all supplies needed, you probably would need only your skin routine stuff with you. They also provide new Ohrenstöpsel on the desk! The room is equiped with two small fans but no AC

Cons:

The stairs, be ware of them, steep and long like all over Amsterdam, but the reception helped me with my bag at check in! So friendly.

Pros:

Ótima localizaçao, dá para fazer tudo a pé ou pegar o tram na porta do hotel. Varios restaurantes em volta, supermercado e lojas. Tudo perfeito!

Wonderful stay made exceptional by Nur’s outstanding hospitality.
Pros:

An especially heartfelt thank you to Nur at the front desk. He went above and beyond to make my mother and me feel welcome throughout our stay. He was incredibly kind, attentive, professional and always willing to help with a smile. His warm hospitality truly made our visit to Amsterdam even more memorable. The hotel itself was comfortable and well located but Nur’s outstanding service is what we will remember most.
