Everything about this property was extremely exceptional, the greeting of the owner who spoke enough English to get by, it was the largest room in Japan we have come across, everything was provided , and we have been travelling for 3 weeks and the bed and pillows were like Heaven after so many hotel beds, have never experienced any bed or pillows like this. So thank you for the most wonderful stay. ❤️

Great value to stay here.
Pros:

Just only 4 rooms for rent. If you able booked the room here, you are very lucky. The room is wide and comfy. You will feel like live in a ryokan but more comfortable. Private toilet but hot bath is public.
Distance walk to a pond and beside a walking street.

totally good experience its a reach all the stuff that i want to see in Yufuin ... Kinrin lake was mesmerizing

its actually inside the village .. so im happy the room was so big and the view !!! is amazing .. also close to the station ... 15mins

not too accommodating staff its kind of independent style .. as soon as you get your key you can do whatever you want ... 🤣🤣🤣il more freedom

Wonderful staff, great location, spacious room but no shower.
Pros:

We were inside the village and could walk down to look at all the stores.

Cons:

It was my mistake for not looking properly but there was no shower in our room. We had to go to the onsen below but it was wonderful after the shock.

Pros:

Centrally located to all the famous sights!

Cons:

Tried going back to the hotel at 9pm and has very big trouble finding the main gate of the hotel as the Floral Village is CLOSED! This must be improved to be more easily accessible for the guests that go back after the closure of the Floral Village.

Enjoyed my stay
Pros:

The hotel is in the floral village. Lots of restaurants and food stalls nearby. Clean and spacious rooms. Super friendly staff.

Cons:

The parking is paid separately to the room and access is difficult after village closing hours. Rooms do not have showers.

Pros:

Friendly staff, spacious room with comfortable bedding. Wonderful mountain views from the room. Quirky location inside the village based on theme characters. Be aware the hotel has no meal facilities but there is a Lawson nearby and several restaurants within walking distance.

lovely!
Pros:

even though it’s a traditional japanese building style, it’s super super clean, you cant even find a piece of dust!! the bathroom is so nice too, with full of amenities, the staff is super friendly and helpful even when i cant speak japanese.
