One of the highlights of my stay at the Hilton Santa Marta was definitely the breakfast. The variety was excellent, with fresh fruit, hot options, pastries, and made-to-order dishes. Everything was well presented, fresh, and consistently high quality. It’s the kind of breakfast that actually makes you look forward to starting your day early.

The property itself is beautiful, modern, and very well maintained. The design feels elegant but relaxed, and the common areas are spacious and comfortable. The pool area is especially impressive — perfect for relaxing, enjoying the view, or having a drink while watching the sunset.

The location is another big plus. It’s right by the ocean, offering great views and easy access to the beach, while still being close enough to Santa Marta’s main attractions. Whether you want to relax or explore the city, the hotel is perfectly situated for both.

Overall, the combination of great food, a stunning property, and an unbeatable location made my stay very enjoyable.

Cons:

Honestly, there wasn’t much I didn’t like about my stay at the Hilton Santa Marta. Overall, the experience was very positive and met (if not exceeded) my expectations.

If I had to point out something, it would be very minor details rather than real issues. At times, certain areas felt busy during peak hours, especially around breakfast or the pool, but that’s understandable for a popular beachfront hotel. Nothing that took away from the overall comfort or enjoyment of the stay.

Other than that, everything—from the service to the facilities and atmosphere—was consistently good. It’s one of those stays where you leave thinking there’s very little you would change.
