Consider this hotel if you are in Santa Catalina
Pros:

We had a wonderful 10-day stay at Hotel Santa Catalina — beautifully managed and perfectly located right in front of La Punta, with Playa El Estero and the town centre just a short walk away.

Our room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with reliable wifi, a safe and mini fridge, plus a lovely patio with two hammocks and chairs to relax in. We really appreciated the free use of surfboards, kayaks, and bikes.

The on-site restaurant, Pescao, was excellent, offering stunning ocean views and a fantastic infinity pool. A big thank you to Raphael, Daniel, and Eliana for their warm hospitality and for making our visit so memorable.

Pros:

The staff, and especially those at the restaurant, were all fantastic. The restaurant food and drinks were great. Fresh food and great portion sizes for the price. The pool was nice.
The room was clean, with clean bedding and hot shower.
I loved that the hotel was away from the bustle of town centre.

Cons:

The beach was rocky and at high tide it wasn't really usable. The room was rough. Like not finished well.

Charming and comfortable hotel in lovely Santa Catalina, Panama
Pros:

Very charming hotel, human size, with excellent restaurant and lovely pool area. The hotel is well run with an attentive manager on site. It was nice meeting and exchanging with the dynamic and friendly Brazilian bartender and other staff members. Amazing sunset directly from the hotel.

Atardeceres, surf y naturaleza
Pros:

El hotel quedaba muy cerca de la playa para ir a pie. Utilizamos las tablas de surf que el hotel tenia a disposición como también las bicicletas. Es hermoso ver el atardecer desde la pileta. La habitación nos pareció super amplia y estuvimos muy cómodos 4 personas. Utilizamos la cocina y contaba con todos los utensilios necesarios. Definitivamente volvería a ir !

Cons:

Recomiendo llevar protector para insectos ya que de noche nos picaron varios mosquitos y arañas.
