Pros:

Hoch oben in gemütlicher Ruhe im Pool zu chillen hat schon was.Man konnte sogar Abendessen a la card bestellen.Man kann sogar den Turm von Ambuluwawa in der Ferne sehen und der Sonnenuntergang ist auch nicht zu verachten.

Cons:

Der Weg hinauf - ist mit dem Tuktuk schon eine kleine Herausforderung,aber machbar.

Entspannung abseits des Trubels der Stadt
Pros:

Ich habe zwei Nächte im „The Grove“ verbracht, um mich ein wenig vom Reisen zu erholen und hatte einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen, man hat von der Terrasse oben eine tollen Blick auf die umliegenden Berge. Es gibt nicht viele Restaurants in der Nähe, daher habe ich dort auch zu Abend gegessen - alle Mahlzeiten waren sehr lecker. Das Haus ist toll designt und mein Zimmer war geräumig, sehr sauber und hatte ein wunderbar gemütliches Bett. Mit wurde zudem ermöglicht gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis meine Wäsche zu waschen. Alle sind sehr freundlich, allen voran der Besitzer mit dem man sich ganz wunderbar austauschen und unterhalten kann. Vielen Dank!

Pros:

Wij vonden het een prettig en rustige plek met een heerlijk zwembad. Ondanks de hobbelige weg, werd dit gecompenseerd door het fantastische uitzicht. We hebben heerlijk avond gegeten en hadden een top ontbijt!

Piękne miejsce! Chociaż dojazd do niego był wyzwaniem (kręte, strome i wąskie drogi. nasz bus miał pewne problemy).
Jednocześnie widoki wszystko rekompensowały. Śniadania na tarasie to była sama przyjemność.
Duże, dobrze wyposażone pokoje, przestronne łazienki, dobre ciśnienie wody.
Przyjemny basen dostępny cały czas.

Très bien, personnel très agréable.
Pros:

Très bel hôtel, équipements de qualité et personnel très bienveillant et à l’écoute. Piscine bien agréable. Emplacement au calme. Vue superbe sur les montagnes depuis la terrasse pour les repas. L’hôtel est à 30min de Kandy en voiture mais un service de taxi peut être organisé par l’hôtel. Nous gardons un très bon souvenir de cet hôtel.

Pros:

Очень приятное и эстетическое место. Крайне приятные и добрые хозяева домашнего отеля. В доме все работает исправно. С балконов открываются шикарные виды. Особенно вызывает большое уважение образованность хозяина дома, который читает Пушкина и Достоевского!

Я просил вечером постирать мою одежду. К утру все было готово. На вилле чисто и очень атмосферно. Жаль, что по планы мы останавливались на вилле только одну ночь.

Не было акого.

Тихое местечко для настоящих путешественников
Pros:

Очень гостеприимный персонал, невероятно приятно.
Тихое умиротворенное место. Прекрасные виды. Вкусно по домашнему накормили на завтрак и ужин.

Достаточно близко к Амбулава. За этим мы там и остановились.
Но будьте внимательны, от Канди это далеко и если ваши планы в Канди, то нужно выбирать отель в центре города там. Это должны быть разные точки и дни маршрута, как мы убедились на своем опыте.

Без своей машины или машины с водителей в этой местности будет туго! Приезжайте в отель, когда светло. Ночью ни одного фонаря, плохая видимость, серпантин, узкие дороги и очень очень крутой поворот до отеля, который легко пропустить. Это не проблема для опытных туристов, но нужно иметь в виду. Гугл карта строит неверный маршрут на участке перед поворотом на отель, верный - извилист и тернист.

Cons:

Номера немного устарели и много плесени от влажности. Но это соответствует цене размещения, и это справедливо.
