Pros:

​Wir hatten das größte Zimmer des Hauses in diesem wunderschönen, familiengeführten Hotel. Die Gastfreundschaft ist wirklich herzlich und der riesige Balkon am Zimmer ist ein Traum! Besonders positiv überrascht hat uns das Bad: Das hat absolut europäischen Standard und ist nicht – wie man es in solchen Ländern ja leider öfter sieht – irgendwie provisorisch zusammengeflickt.
​Richtig genial ist auch der Pool, der direkt am Haus liegt und perfekt zum Entspannen einlädt. Die Speisekarte bietet eine super vielfältige Auswahl und alles, was wir bestellt haben, war geschmacklich absolut top! Von der Frühstücksterrasse aus hat man außerdem einen fantastischen Blick auf den bekannten Ambuluwawa Tower.
​Ein wichtiger Punkt ist allerdings die Lage: Das Hotel liegt wirklich extrem weit vom Schuss und die Fahrt den Berg hoch ist ein echtes Abenteuer. Man sollte sich vor der Anreise gut überlegen, ob man das möchte, denn mal eben schnell wieder wegzukommen ist ziemlich verzwickt. Bis runter nach Kandy braucht man jedes Mal mindestens eine Dreiviertelstunde. Man stellt sich hier am besten direkt darauf ein, einfach oben im Hotel zu bleiben und die Zeit vor Ort zu genießen.

beautiful clean space and comfortable stay with family
Pros:

Breakfast was very good , Swimming pool was very good (Water was too cold)
rooms were clean , spacious and service was also good
views from hotel / terrace were very good

Cons:

the last mile Road leading to the hotel should be improved
Its broken , difficult to drive and pool water should be little warm

Vue sublime et séjour très calme
Pros:

Emplacement magnifique avec une vue à couper le souffle ! Tres calme et personnel aux petits soins, et la nourriture était délicieuse (meilleur devilled chicken de notre séjour)

Cons:

Le seul léger inconvénient est que l’endroit n’est pas très facile d’accès et à 30 min de Kandy environ, mais c’est le prix à payer pour une vue et un calme exceptionnels

Beautiful stay
Pros:

The Grove Kandy is an absolutely beautiful property! 🌿✨ It’s a little outside Kandy, but honestly, it’s worth every penny. The views and surroundings are breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it such a lovely escape from the city.

The breakfast and food were absolutely amazing, and the staff were the sweetest and so welcoming throughout my stay. Everything felt so warm and thoughtfully taken care of. Definitely one of my favourite stays in Kandy, and I’d highly recommend it if you’re looking for beautiful views, great food, and a peaceful getaway. 🤍

مكان جيد بعيد عن صخب كاندي
Pros:

أقمنا هنا لمدة يومين نهاية شهر جولاي، كانت مشمسة والجو مقبول كونها عالية بعض الشيء
نوع الغرفة كان غرفة عائلية:
-الغرفة واسعة
-الإطلالة جميلة
-الفطور لذيذ و مشبع
-المسبح نظيف و مكشوف
-المكيف مقبول ومعه مروحة تساعده أيضا وينقطع الكهرباء لدقائق بين فترة وأخرى ويجب إعادة تشغيله حينها
-بعيدة عن صخب المدينة وزحمتها لكن الطريق لها وعر لابد أن يكون السائق شخص متعود على القيادة في الاماكن المرتفعة والطرق الصخرية الضيقة
-تعامل أصحاب المكان جميل

الباب يغلق بصعوبة لكن اعتقد سيقومون بإصلاحه

It was wonderful.
Pros:

The view was absolutely stunning. The hotel was very quiet and beautiful. We only stayed for one night, wish we had more time to stay there, the place was very calm and relaxing. Their breakfast was delicious especially the pancakes- best pancakes i ever had. The owner was very kind.

Cons:

The only problem was we didnt find hand soaps in the bathroom.

Zeer gastvrij enlekker ontbijt en avondeten.
Pros:

Leuk zwembad met prachtig uitzicht, gastheer en staf was zeer vriendelijk en hielp ons zeer goed verder ivm uitstappen. Ontbijt was zeer lekker. Avondeten was ook zeer lekker en zeer goed van prijs.

Cons:

Het is een echte villa maar had wat verfschade aan de muur van de storm in december 2025.

Un retiro para la tranquilidad
Pros:

La casa era muy bonita estaba muy limpia, pero destacaría sobre todo la amabilidad de su dueño y lo bien que nos cocinó, le pedimos comida fuera de carta y no tuvo problema en hacerlo, muchas gracias.

Cons:

Lo único negativo es lo retirado que estaba del centro y el acceso un poco difícil, y que tampoco había mucho donde caminar por los alrededores para estar en una montaña, por lo que siempre dependes de un coche.

Pros:

El mejor desayuno de todo nuestro viaje en Sri Lanka. Un entorno maravilloso. Unos anfitriones excelentes. Una casa preciosa con piscina.
Un camino cuesta arriba de tierra algo complicado para subir, pero no imposible (suben motos, coches, tuktuk....)

Cons:

Una pena no poder disfrutarlo mas tiempo!

Pros:

Location was the highlight. Helpful staff and friendly host. Food was very good. Extremely happy with the experience. Great for relaxing after a hike although a little far from pekoe trail stage 1 & 2 trail heads. Still worth the distance for me. Great climate too.

A peaceful place with great views
Pros:

The property is on a top of hill with a 360 view. The hotel is more like a bnb. Host is so nice as well as his staff
If you look for a remote place among the greenery and nature , this is what you need.
Place is clean and rooms are simple
