Exceptional visit to your beautful hotel - Food was excellent and the service from start to finish was fantastic. The walk to the beach is a must whatever the weather. Super location.

Pros:

Geweldige ligging en super vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ze zitten in een renovatie, maar daar merk je niets van. De sauna is weergaloos en het uitzicht adembenemend. Het ontbijt overtreft elke verwachting met een hoop fijne en gezonde keuzes. We hebben s’avonds gedineerd in het restaurant en dit was heerlijk (salade met gans en rode biet als hoofdgerecht). Echt een aanrader voor iedereen die naar het zuidelijkste deel gaat van IJsland en tevens een prima uitvalsbasis voor de delen rondom Vik. Beste verblijf in IJsland.

A magical experience
Pros:

Everything about our stay was wonderful: the location, the staff, the onsite restaurant and bar was everything we expected and more. The sauna was a highlight and the short walk to a deserted black sand beach was amazing. They also offer a northern lights wake up service. Wonderful and would definitely stay again.

Cons:

The hairdryer in the room was not very good but other than that we have no complaints!

Pros:

Stunning setting beside the sea. Rooms were comfortable and cosy. Food at dinner and breakfast were excellent and staff were pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

Seemed pricey but everything in Iceland is!

Prima verblijf gehad
Pros:

De sauna was erg fijn met een mooi uitzicht. De wandeling naar het strand was ook verrassend mooi. Een onwijs lekker restaurant. Er was bij aankomst een klein probleem met onze boeking, maar dit is door het personeel snel en professioneel opgepakt. Uiteindelijk is het volledig naar tevredenheid opgelost, wat voor ons echt het verschil maakte. De manier waarop ermee werd omgegaan gaf vertrouwen en liet zien dat service hier serieus wordt genomen.

Al met al een heel fijn verblijf en zeker een plek waar we met een goed gevoel op terugkijken.

Cons:

Ontzettend warm op de kamer. Ze zijn nu aan het renoveren wat ook wel nodig is, daarna wordt het vast ook veel mooier. De badkamer is ontzettend klein in de standaard kamers.

Pros:

It was 3 of us on the trip and the beds were made for 2 people only, the staff was really helpful and they quickly offered us a different room. The receptionist was really nice, they offered a wake up call for aurora, unfortunately there was not any during our stay. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. We appreciate the free parking.
20 minutes walk is a private black sand beach which was really nice during the sunrise. The breakfast was tasty.

Cons:

The day and night were really windy and we could hear the wind through the bathroom ventilation even with closed door.
