Family Hotel Kooyk

Wir haben zwei Zimmer gebucht und waren zu 5. In einem Zimmer gab es keine Toilette oder Dusche. Von diesem Zimmer aus konnte man ein Gemeinschaftsbad nutzen, welches aber so eng war, dass man die Toilette fast nicht nutzen konnte. Die Treppe zu diesem Zimmer war auch unglaublich eng und gefährlich. Generell waren die Zimmer sehr marode und Renovierungs bzw. Sanierungsbedürftig. Boden war vor Nässe verformt, Möbel waren kaputt, Wände blätterten ab etc. Das Schlimmste war aber die Angst vor Bettwanzen. Wir checkten am gleichen Tag ein wie zwei Frauen, welche bereits nach wenigen Stunden wieder auscheckten, da sie wohl Bettwanzen im Zimmer hatten. Entsprechend ging uns auch immer der Gedanke im Kopf herum, ob unsere Zimmer auch betroffen waren. Wir haben die Zimmer mehrmals abgesucht und all unsere Koffer und Kleidung in Müllsäcke gepackt.
Es half auch nicht, dass bei vorherigen Bewertungen im Internet von Bettwanzen die Rede war.
Zum Glück waren unsere Zimmer nicht betroffen, jedoch trübte dieser Umstand unseren Besuch sehr.

Das "Hotel" ist von oben bis unten sehr dreckig.
Das Bad ist extrem klein und man hat null Privatsphäre, wenn man auf die Toilette muss oder duscht.
Alles war lieblos und ungepflegt.
Die Bilder im Internet entsprechen überhaupt nicht der Realität.

Our room, unfortunately, was extremely uncomfortable. We had expected a very small/tight space, but it was too small for nightstands, difficult to get in and out of the bed, and the walls were rough with stains and unpainted recent repair work. A built-in “desk” sagged when we put a water bottle on it. We knew there was no air conditioning, but the window in the room would not open far enough to let in cool air (likely for security reasons), and the curtains had to be closed because the window looked directly out on a courtyard accessible by all (ground floor) - closed curtains meant almost no cool air came in through the [barely] opened window. There was a fan but it did nothing to abate the heat. The room was far too hot to sleep comfortably. The price was not really that much lower than other hotels were charging for much better rooms. We learned our lesson about how to pay very close attention to posted photos - the photos on Booking.com never showed anything beyond the headboard and part of the bed, so it was not possible to see exactly what the room looked like or how big it would be. In retrospect, this seems a bit deceptive of management. Nothing was refundable, so we graciously left without any refund and moved to a much more comfortable room in another hotel.

Very noisy. Very old and not Well Kept. When we were shovering, the water ran out on the bathroom floor. We had to dry it with our towels, and then we did, we didn’t get new towels. The Keys to the frontdoor did not work. One of our rooms smelled very bad, and another One was Way to hot, with no option to make it cooler, even though there was a fan in it.

Sehr herunter gekommenes Zimmer. Diverse Schäden.Schlechte Belüftung

Gestank, Schimmel, Feucht, unpassende Gerätestecker, Fenster verzogen nicht zu öffnen,

Kein Kühlschrank. Klimaanlage im Gebäude. Sehr schmaler und steiler Flur. Kein Aufzug. Sehr kleines Badezimmer.
