We love this, we'll be back.
Pros:

We loved everything about Black Pearl Apartments. Spotlessly clean, very spacious, felt a little bit special having a key for the lift that opened onto the apartment.
Location is fantastic for tourists, bus stop 4 is just a 2 minute walk away,. that's the pick up point for lots of excursions.
Staff knew it was our silver wedding anniversary and left us a little treat and a beautiful card.
Apartment is huge, with views on all sides. Bedding is really good quality and very comfortable.

Cons:

Minor gripes, tiny but worth mentioning?
We would have preferred to lock the door in the lift foyer when we were out.
The fridge doubles as the minibar which takes up space that might be used for milk etc.

Another wonderful stay at The Black Pearl
Pros:

We’ve just returned from a week-long stay at The Black Pearl. We've stayed here several times over the years because the location is excellent, and we have always had a wonderful experience. The reception staff are fantastic and were always very helpful during our stay. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable, with a large bed and a great shower in the bathroom. Housekeeping cleaned the room to a very high standard each day. The location in the Old Harbour area is ideal for exploring the city, with many great restaurants, cafés and sights all within easy walking distance. I always recommend The Black Pearl to anyone visiting Reykjavík and we look forward to staying there again.

Cons:

Would big nice of the TV in the room was capable of supporting airplay/casting/mirroring from phones and tablets and had more international channels on it.

Great apartment, really well equipped with a high specification. Daily room cleaning excellent and perfect location.

A convenient location, but overall disapppointed.
Pros:

The apartments were spacious & had most things we needed. The heated floors were nice. The kitchen was thorough.

Cons:

The parking cost extra, which was unnecessary at the price of the stay.
The hair dryer doesn’t match the quality of the other facilities.
The staff were really rude about us leaving & called twice, we told them we’d be 5 minutes and a staff member came upstairs to kick us out!
The pillows are really uncomfortable and the lighting is terrible.
