Unique and amazing
Pros:

An utterly unique jewel box of a property. Highest quality experience with real human touches. I’ve traveled to scores of countries and this was an unsurpassed memorable stay.

Die Atmosphäre und Ausstattung wunderschön. Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zugewandt. Das Essen perfekt. Würden auch wieder buchen

I just stayed at NOT Hotel Athens and I’m honestly still thinking about it—this place is such a hidden gem.

THE HOTEL
First off, the vibe is unreal. The hotel is set inside a beautifully restored 200-year-old industrial building, which has had the wildest history (everything from a barracks to a film studio), and now it’s been completely transformed into this modern, design-forward oasis. The gorgeous flower and olive tree garden area makes you feel tucked away in a special place. The even have the original well that runs water down a small stream. I sat outside my room enjoying my coffee every morning enjoying my view.

THE LOCATION
Next - The location. It's one of those “trust the process” situations. Don't let the prevalent Athens graffiti throw you off.

When you first arrive, the area (Kerameikos) might feel a little quite —but that’s mostly because a lot of spots are closed during the day. At night, it totally flips. You’re just a few blocks from some of the best bars, restaurants, and nightlife in Athens, and the whole neighborhood comes alive with a cool, artsy energy.

And convenience-wise? So easy. The hotel is literally a few minutes walk (about 700 feet) from Keramikos metro station. From there, you’re only 1–3 stops away from all the main Athens sites like Monastiraki, the Acropolis area, and the historic center—so getting around is effortless. Myself and my daughter felt totally safe on the metro and walking around day or night.

THE ROOM
Huge! We were in room 12. Very spacious with a large bathroom and huge walk in shower. You could fit 5 people in that shower lol. Great water pressure. Bed was comfy.

Now the actual experience… obsessed.

The staff? Incredible. Every single person was warm, helpful, and genuinely made you feel taken care of. Housekeeping even folded my daughter's clothes that she had thrown everywhere. Totally unnecessary but how kind of them.

The food and drinks were also a highlight.

A very special place in this ancient and beautiful city
Pros:

This is a fantastic boutique hotel!!!
Me and my husband liked everything-so stylish and comfortable, very clean, with lovely and peaceful garden and a courtyard. The location is good-just a few minutes from the Metro and close to the city center.
The restaurant is lovely - delicious and high quality food and drinks.
But what makes this place one to fall in love with are people ❤️
All of them are amazingly kind, supportive and welcoming!
Thank you so much for making our stay in Athens so special!

Un îlot paradisiaque dans le marasme anthénien
Pros:

Tout a été parfait ou presque. L’ambiance générale, le personnel attentionné, la chambre, la cour intérieure… font de cet établissement une véritable bulle d’oxygène dans cette ville assez contrastée.

Cons:

Peut être le bruit du spectacle voisin certains soirs mais c’est vraiment pour trouver quelque chose à redire.
