Pools were lovely (one heated and one not) with umbrellas
Staff very helpful, including the operations manager getting us some needed medication without even being asked when he learned we needed it.
We liked most everything- these are simply suggestions for other travellers:
There are a lot of stairs throughout and this complex/hotel is growing- so if you have any mobility issues you will need to ask for a room on the main floor area.
There is a restaurant on site, however there are a few lovely others nearby (an Italian one that looked especially nice which we didn't find until after)- so the hotel wasn't particularly forthcoming with restaurant recommendations in the immediate area- but there are some.
We were looking for a nice calm place outside of the hustle and bustle of Huacachina so we could do our buggy tour but retreat from the intensity (which is real). However it is a bit of a distance - about a 20 minute taxi ride- which was fine for us, but important to know. We used Angel Taxi (you can ask the hotel to call him for you)- but all hotels in Peru seem to have their own taxi connections.
Finally, we imagined ICA as a small town- which is not the case, while the area of the hotel is small and quiet- ICA itself felt like a city more than a town.

Piscinas bonitas, lugar bastante bonito. De noche calientitas y de 7am a 10pm me parece excelente. Parking privado y tenía aire acondicionado, aunque muy baja potencia enfriaba el ambiente un poco. Su restaurante 10/10, o por lo menos su lomo saltado muy bueno y vino rápido.
En mi caso fue habitación familiar. No pasa nada con el aire, solo llegaba hasta la mitad de la habitación, ni siquiera llegaba a enfriar la habitación donde estaba y la otra estaba caliente. El check out temprano, que se puede cambiar pero por disponibilidad, y lo común es 12pm para llegar a hacer tours en la mañana. Otra parte es la ubicación, ninguna bodega cerca tienes que caminar kilómetros para llegar a la carretera y recién ver que hay por ahí.
