Nice hotel but room was very dark , bit expensive

Amazing location-round the corner of everything and anything you want, but very peaceful and quiet, tucked away from extremely busy main streets.
The staff is superb-many thanks to the staff in the morning making sure breakfast buffet is spotless and always full of delicious food! Also front staff are amazing too, big thank you to Michael who checked us in and out making sure we knew our way round hotel and Valletta and made us all at ease! And of course all the housekeeping team for making our room perfect every single day.

Really enjoyed my birthday stay in Malta - would go there again.
Pros:

The breakfast had a good selection of Continental and English hot food. It also had local specialities available. The staff worked hard to ensure you had an enjoyable breakfast. The Reception staff were knowledgeable and a good resource for information about local transport, etc. Michael also set up a taxi from / to the airport for us. The hotel was in an excellent location in Valletta.

Cons:

The room was on the smaller side but the bathroom and bedroom were kept clean.
The safe in the wardrobe was not fixed down so could have been stolen - this needs to be rectified.

A decent hotel in a quiet location.
Pros:

Property was in good condition. The bed was comfortable and the hotel is in a location quiet. Breakfast staff were very nice and we enjoyed the small selection of fresh produce.

Cons:

It is a boutique hotel with small rooms and feels cramped generally in bedroom and public areas. There is not a lot of comfort in the property. The price we paid seemed way too high for a hotel of this level. It would have been nice to have help dragging our suitcase up the steep alleyway and up the flight of steeps to the road. I would expect that in a hotel of this rating.
