Emplacement idéal pour tout faire à pied
Pros:

L'emplacement idéal au cœur du centre de Valetta.

Cons:

La literie et les oreillers, bien de dessous de ce qu'on s'attend dans ce style d'hôtel.
A améliorer de toute urgence

Wonderful
Pros:

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a hotel! So so good.

Cons:

More natural light in my room, but I was courtyard facing - otherwise, it was fantastic.

Good Hotel, Bad room
Pros:

The hotel is very nice and the staff is super!! specially Barbara at the reception and the spanish lady at the breakfast room; they were mazing!

Cons:

My room had only a small window without natural light that led to an internal patio. Also, the aircon was not working. For the price they charged, that is not really adequate.

Je recommande vivement +++

San Karlu is a very nice hotel with attentive staff.
Pros:

Very clean, good breakfast, great location. Quiet location yet close enough to all sights and restaurants.

Cons:

The stairs you have to walk down to the hotel. I have a tough time walking up and down steep stairs and hills but the hotel staff sends up help to carry bags down and up when you leave.

Lovly friendly hotel close to town centre
Pros:

Friendly helpful staff. Good location, quite but central. The hotel is in a beautifully, but sympathetically, renovated old building. Our room was spotlessly clean with all the facilities you would expect We would be happy to go back.

Cons:

Although the hotel is centrally located we hadn't realised that to we had to walk up four steep streets to get to the central area, only about a 5 min walk but all uphill at 45 degrees might be a problem for some visitors.

Perfect. Would highly recommend.
Pros:

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were always attentive and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The complementary glass of fizz was most welcome as was the 2 hour happy hour at the roof top bar. The location was perfect too. Close to the centre but down a quiet side street so no problems with noise. The room was spotless and the bed was super comfortable.

Cons:

Nothing at all.

Pros:

This was a really good little hotel. The staff were excellent and generally we were very happy

Cons:

Disappointingly the AC was blowing onto the bed causing a cold draft that kept us away. Also the mattress was really hot, so the combination was very uncomfortable. After 3 nights they fixed the AC. All this could have been fixed in a few minutes

Highly recommend!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at San Karlu and truly appreciated the warm hospitality!

The team made our anniversary even more special by preparing a lovely surprise in our room, along with two glasses of Prosecco. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a beautiful way to start our stay.

A special thank you to Ellen at reception, who was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. She took the time to recommend places to visit and gave us great tips for exploring Malta.

The entire staff was attentive, friendly and professional throughout our stay. The breakfast service was excellent, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless.

We also loved the pool and pool bar area, everything was beautifully maintained, clean and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

Thank you to the whole San Karlu team for making our stay so memorable. We felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Valletta!
