I stayed at this hotel and the one right next door. The one next door was a little more expensive, but had more comfort
Pros:

The location, value and cleanliness are all good. It also has an elevator.

Cons:

There were no on site amenities (restaurant, etc.). The front desk staff did their job, but did not project “we’re glad you’re here.”

Cons:

podmáčení/plíseň v koupelně na stropě a klimatizace, která se každou chvíli zbláznila a přes nastavený program začala zběsile foukat a chladit na maximum (v noci nás to vždycky vzbudilo, protože je umístěná tak, že převážně fouká na postel)

Could do better...
Pros:

Staff were great and location excellent for walking to Central Chiang Mai. Beds were comfortable and hotel was quiet at night

Cons:

Not offered help with our luggage to or from the room. Quite a steep slope to the room. Found AC unit very loud and asked for another room which was granted. Room not well cleaned. Dirty marks on bed divans. Food particles on the floor whole time we were there and mirrors were smudged. All this is easily fixed and it would be a very good hotel

Nettes Hotel am Nordrand der Altstadt. Ruhige Zimmer zum Parkplatz. WLAN muss funktionieren.

Der erste Eindruck via Booking.com war vielversprechend. Die Realität sah jedoch anders aus.
Das Zimmer war freundlich, groß genug und hatte einen Balkon sowie ein geräumiges Bad mit einer XL-Duschkabine und „ausgefransten“ Handtüchern/-lappen. Leider lag es zur äußerst belebten Straßenseite am Wassergraben, wodurch teils überlauter Lärm verursacht wurde. Und das rund um die Uhr! Ein Zimmertausch war wegen anderweitiger Belegung nicht möglich. Ein Hotelwechsel war wegen des kurzen 5-Tage-Aufenthalts und des ggf. zeitaufwendigen Regressverfahrens keine Option. Mein Bericht bewirkt mehr.
Dann der Schock: Das angepriesene Hochgeschwindigkeitsinternet entpuppte sich als Desaster. Wenn man sich endlich mal einloggen konnte, dümpelte das WLAN in der Lobby mit Unterbrechungen vor sich hin und das zweite WLAN war so gut wie nie nutzbar. Zudem war der Internet-Empfang hauptsächlich in der Lobby im Erdgeschoss erträglich, erreichte aber viel zu oft nicht das Zimmer in der zweiten Etage.

Da ich dringende Arbeiten (größere <> Datenübertragungen) erledigen musste und praktisch international isoliert war, wandte ich mich an die Hotelleitung. Meine mündlichen sowie schriftlichen Beschwerden (Kopie an Booking.com) und meine Forderung nach Abhilfe fruchteten erst am dritten Tag halbwegs. Davor musste ich mich mit meinem MacBook Pro in einer kleinen Hinterstraßenbude niederlassen, weil es dort ein hervorragendes WLAN gab, aber keine Klimaanlage, sondern nur 34 °C und einen Ventilator.

Am dritten Tag tauschte der Zimmerservice endlich die zerfetzten Handtücher aus und reinigte das Zimmer dann täglich. Die Kaffeebeutel (Instant) waren rationiert. Mehr als eine Tasse pro Person war nicht möglich.

Reasonable price in a good location, but room was malodorous and the walls needed a deep clean.
Pros:

The location was convenient, the room was spacious, and there was a nice lobby. We enjoyed the gym and the cold complimentary water.

Cons:

Room wasn’t super clean (brown splotches on bedroom and bathroom walls) and had a very bad odor during our whole stay.
