A beautiful hotel in an excellent location.
Pros:

The location is excellent, the hotel is in a quiet street but only a few minutes walk from the bustling City centre and the added advantage of free parking is a real bonus. The staff are lovely, especially Tracy who is so friendly and helpful and just went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We had a junior suite which is fantastic, beautifully decorated with all the added extras you'd expect from a luxury hotel but without the luxury price tag.

Cons:

We couldn't get any hot water from the bathroom sink tap. It may have been because we just didn't run it long enough but you'd expect hot water to be pretty instant.

Pros:

Communication with the property was outstanding from get go. The staff were super helpful and friendly throughout. The room was lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend and we will most certainly return.

Great City Break
Pros:

The property is quite boutique style. The welcome was amazing really natural and organic. The apartment had lights on for us and was warm already. The cleanliness was great and the bed was so comfortable.

The lounge area in room 3 was ideal. Given the space I might suggest a footstool and or side table to use but otherwise

The hotel is in a great location, just steps from the city wall. We stayed in room 3, which could not have been more perfect for us.

Great location and a quality hotel
Pros:

It was walking distance to the shops and restaurants in the city centre located just in side the walls. The rooms were well decorated with great facilities and a comfortable bed

Cons:

We had a ground floor room and there was a bit of noise from people outside early morning. Due to the age of the property there may be nothing they could do about this but would be worth looking at secondary glazing

Fab 40th Birthday stay
Pros:

Nothing not to like. Perfect stay. Lovely room. Comfy bed. Stacked drinks / biscuits tray. Milk and cold water. Very quiet hotel. Great location.

Cons:

Didnt not like anything. If any all point it would just be for black out curtains in the bedrom. But it wasnt a huge issue.

Pros:

The hotel is in a great location and offers secure parking . It is so close to everything you need we didn't move the car at all. Tracy was great as well. The room was clean and of a good size.

Exceptional location, friendly staff, clean place
Pros:

Tracy at reception was very welcoming, was informative about local sights to see and was very accommodating.

The room was great, it was comfortable, for a room which was quite warm a fan was provided so that was a bonus.

It was very clean which is always pleasant when staying at a hotel and the location was perfect, a short walk from the town centre and all the main sights around Chester.

Lovely, cosy, and cute.
Pros:

Lovely room and facilities. Very clean and cosy. Tracey was lovely and very helpful. Free parking and within walking distance to the town. Bed was comfy and bathroom was lovely. Would stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

Great location, but bedding was poor quality and needs replacing.
Pros:

Property looks the part and is in a great location but bedding was not of great quality and pillows were old, smelt bad and uncomfortable.

Cons:

I disliked the lack of information regarding parking on-site, I did think the bedding needs replacing as it’s old and smells quite bad. The overall look and cleanliness was fine but bedding was a let down. Shower wasn’t easy to use as you need to pull the chord but eventually we figured it out. That needs to be signed as I’m used to more modern shower facilities. Would still stay here again.
