Śniadania mogłyby być bardziej urozmaicone.

No water in the pool on first day, was fully filled at sixt day, we needed to selv clean it. Overpriced restaurant, menue apeared on the last day, electricity shortages every day, seaweed on the beach.

The check in was a disaster...despite having aware or our arrival time and asking for an early check in, there were still other guys moving out of the room at 2.15 pm. Room was then cleaned but was unusable as it wreaked like chemicals.

The AC barely worked, there was holes in the walls and the box fan in the room did little.

The worst thing though was that there was a planned power cut they told us nothing about, despite having communicated with them in person and online several times.

From 6 to midnight there was no lights, ac, fan, wifi, WATER...couldnt shower or flush the toilet. They left us with no time to prepare ourselves for this or provide us lanterns or candles...We did end up helping ourselves to some of the lanterns from the bar as there was no staff to be found except for a security guard sleeping on one of the pool chairs.

we ended up taking a couple pool chairs and moving a mattress outside to try to get some sleep as the room was unbearably hot. At 1230 am the power came back on, so we moved the mattress back in and managed to get some rest.

The place is just an absolute mess and management is nonexistent.

Avoid this place at all cost!

Constant electricity shortages, which means no AC, no water in the rooms, no WIFI, no light, it has been every day and lasts from 2 hour per day, to 24 hours the first day. They had no generator. Pricey bar/restaurant.

Management completely ambivalent to complaints
Electricity went out several times

AVOID this hotel there are many better options near by for less money.

The place is really beautiful, however many things disappointed us and this directly impacted the experience, namely:

1 - I paid for and reserved the room with the best view, the beach view and balcony. However, they gave us a corner (side) room that has a garden view and a minimal view of the beach;

2 - the pool is empty (half-deep), making it unusable;

3 - breakfast has no bread, cheese, or cream cheese. Only fruit (watermelon and pineapple) and pancakes (which neither my husband nor I ate);

4 - the power fluctuates a lot and the air conditioning doesn't work, only the fans at low power;

5 - there are no beach towels or extra bath towels;

6 - they promised to change our room to the next one, as it would be vacant (the inn only has 3 rooms). We waited until the end of breakfast (the time when guests check out) and were informed that they had made a mistake and that the guests would not be checking out. In other words: we lost a day of our tour because we were expecting to change rooms, as had been agreed!

We documented this experience to encourage greater professionalism from the inn's management, especially regarding what is advertised online and what is actually offered, so that no one feels frustrated, as we did!

So we're now looking forward to a quick response from you and some well needed action. That's hopfully will get us back a good feeling to take with us from here and onwards for the rest of our honeymoon.

Saltvatten i pool och alla kranar ink. Dusch. För lite restauranger i området.

Nous avons été déçu de l’hôtel. Premièrement l’hôtel n’en est pas vraiment un. Il n’y a que 3 chambres, un réceptionniste et un cuisinier. De plus, Pongwe est très reculé. Il n’y a quasiment rien autour. Nous nous sommes senties très isolées. La plage en face est pleine de rochers qui font mal aux pieds. La piscine n’est pas très propre. Un des deux réceptionniste ne parlait pas anglais ça a été très dur de se faire comprendre. Nous avons eu beaucoup de coupures de courant (l’hôtel n’est pas équipé de générateur). L’eau de la douche est salée. La restauration sur place est limitée (tout n’est pas disponible sur la carte) et il faut commander bien en avance afin de ne pas attendre des heures son plat. Conclusion : pour le même prix il y a des hôtels bien mieux sur Zanzibar qui apportent un meilleur service / confort.

The air conditioner of the main room didn't work at all and we complaint multiple times, but no solution was given.
The heat was awful inside the room and it was hard to sleep with these conditions

Strom geht oft weg und der agrégat wird nicht angemacht oder nur kurz am Morgen. Und ohne Strom kein Wasser und keine Klima.
