Important information:

Please note that the property offers free 2-way transfer from the center of Chania.

We provide a service between 7:30 am until 2:00 pm for the house keeping service (Changing of the towels, bedsheets, cleaning, etc. )
Bedsheets should be change every 3 days.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Wonderful hotel and staff
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff were excellent and the food was of high quality and tasty - and well priced.

The hotel has a beautiful setting. Lovely pool. Rooms were clean. Delicious breakfast options.

Hotel dotato di ogni comfort in posizione incredibile
Pros:

La posizione della struttura è ideale: dista 10 minuti di macchina dal centro, quindi vicina ma non troppo. Da piscina e ristorante si vede tutta Chania ed è uno spettacolo in ogni orario del giorno. La piscina è molto bella e grande, anche la palestra mi ha sorpreso per gli attrezzi disponibili. La navetta gratuita va e viene dal centro ogni 30 minuti. Colazione strepitosa e anche i piatti del ristorante molto validi. La struttura offre parcheggio gratuito per le automobili e il personale è molto piacevole e disponibile. Anche la nostra camera ci è complessivamente piaciuta, nonostante qualche piccolo imprevisto. Qualità/prezzo darei voto 10!

Cons:

La nostra stanza aveva pareti molto sottili, si sentiva tutto durante la notte. Il frigorifero vibrava producendo rumori vari ma è bastato spegnerlo. In bagno c'era qualche problema con l'acqua e dopo la doccia usciva dal pozzetto causando dei mini allagamenti e di conseguenza pedate per tutta la camera. L'aria del condizionatore aveva cattivo odore.

Pros:

The Royal sun Hotel is a bit of a distance from Chania centre which enables a peaceful stay. The Hotel and rooms were exceptionally clean. The food in the restaurant absolutely delicious and the view from the restaurant is wow. The staff are very approachable and helpful, always a smile on their faces, very welcoming. The bathrooms are extremely clean and well stocked with essentials. Towels were changed daily. The bedroom area was a adequate size with storage. Plenty of sockets and wall mounted TV. (Not many channels but who stays in their room watching TV). The balcony area is more a patio very good size with hanging space for drying clothes. A coffee pod machine is available and stocked up daily. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus into Chania centre and back again. You can book times required at reception. The hotel can also assist with booking taxis to and from the airport at excellent value for money. There is a nice pool area with sunloungers which is very good also a machine whereby you can order drinks and food ( Pay vy card this way). Staff will bring your order to pool area from restaurant. ( You can pay cash if you go up to restaurant if that's preferable). The hotel has lifts to all floors. There is also a laundry room of you want to wash your clothes and you can borrow a iron and tabletop ironing board should the need arise. Overall this hotel is excellent value for money. Just a note on accessibility the hotel is up a very steep hill so should you experience mobility issues this may be a problem.

Cons:

Nothing, no issues. Would be nice if there was a shop nearby to purchase essentials for the room fridge. Having said this these could be purchased in Charnia wirh the use of the shuttle bus.

La gentillesse du personnel, la vue magnifique sur la Canée
La terrasse au rdc est très agréable avec un accès direct sur la belle piscine
la navette gratuite pour se rendre dans le centre ville de la Canée est un grand avantage
le petit déjeuner est fabuleux ! L heure du départ est à 11 heures c est très appréciable

Cons:

Le chauffeur de la navette est parti sans nous inviter à monter dans le mini bus alors que nous attendions à 3 devant l hôtel et que nous nous étions pourtant inscrits .. ?! Un peu contrarié car cela à réduit notre soirée sur la Canée
On ne nous a pas proposé les serviettes pour la piscine 😕

Wir hatten einen richtig schönen Aufenthalt und können das Hotel absolut weiterempfehlen! Das gesamte Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an Nikolas, der immer äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend war.

Der Shuttle-Service in die Stadt war Gold wert und hat jeden Tag zuverlässig funktioniert. Die Hotelanlage ist wunderschön gepflegt, und das Restaurant ist ebenfalls hervorragend – mit einer traumhaften Aussicht auf Chania.

Auch Parkplätze waren jederzeit ausreichend vorhanden, was sehr praktisch war.

Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und das Hotel gerne weiterempfehlen.

A super resort in Chania
Pros:

The hotel, is away from the crowds of the old town, but not too far away from it as well. They has very frequent (free) shuttle service which makes it very convenient to reach the old town and back. Staff were super friendly and helpful (especially Maria and Nicholas). Beautiful restaurant with a lovely view, don't miss the sunsets. And nice breakfast too. Awesome pool as well.

I love the fact that it is so relaxing & the mini bus that runs you down to Chania town….

Cons:

The only negative is the number of sun beds & the lack of parasols. We tend to try & sunbathe under trees but they trimmed them which impacted on the shade
