Excellent séjour et nous sommes près à revenir au plus vite

C'est un super endroit. Le personnel est très réactif et gentil. Lieu très calme et reposant. Johana est vraiment extraordinaire, toujours souriante.

Portobello is directly at the small harbour,very close to all the tavernas and we had a very warm welcome there

Ein sehr angenehmer, entspannender Aufenthalt, der mit 10 Tagen leider zu kurz war.
Pros:

Das Hotel wird von einer liebenswürdigen älteren Dame geführt, die sich aufmerksam, aber unaufdringlich um alle Wünsche der Gäste kümmert. Das Anlage hat mit nur 10 Wohneinheiten eine angenehme, überschaubare Größe. Fast alle Apartments/Studios haben mehr oder weniger Meerblick. Die Anlage mit ihrem großen, beheizten Meerwasserpool wirkt sehr gepflegt und auch nach 25 Jahren Betriebsdauer nicht unangemessen abgenutzt. Die Lage ist hervorragend: unmittelbar am kleinen Fischerhafen, nahe bei den nächsten (Kiesel-)Stränden und fußläufig entfernt von dem halben Dutzend, überwiegend empfehlenswerter Tavernen des Fischerdorfs. Keine Bettenburg und kein Massentourismus stört hier.

Cons:

Angesichts des guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnisses würde jede Kritik, etwa am wenig abwechslungsreichen, aber guten und völlig ausreichenden Frühstück, unangemessen wirken.

Pros:

Accueil tres familial, le village est charmant, éloigné des sites tres touristiques donc c est apaisant. Les logements sont fonctionnels et spacieux, clairs et charmants.
La gérante est très attachante!
La mer est au pied de l établissement avec plusieurs excellentes tavernes.

Fabulous stay
Pros:

Lovely peaceful apartments opposite the little fishing harbour.
Room was a good size with a lovely shower and large balcony. Breakfast was the usual continental style with the added bonus of Joanna's home made bread, and served in the lovely setting next to the pool.
The pool.was lovely, the surrounding area is small but large enough for the number of guests. Drinks are available from the fridge during the day, and an 'honesty' system is in place, just note down in the book what you've had and pay Joanna later.
Joanna is a lovely lady and nothing is too much trouble for her.

The village is perfect for a quiet holiday and lovely food and friendly service at the tavernas. There are a couple of tavernas close by and the main square with about 5 tavernas, is a pleasant 5 minute walk along the sea road.
We loved the apartments and the village and hope to return sometime.
