good location, beautiful design of hotel and also stuff was friendly

Cons:

We found and booked this hotel through Booking.com based on the positive reviews, but our experience was honestly very disappointing.

The room was full of insects from the beginning, and we later realized the main reason was that the doors did not close properly. Since the hotel is right in front of the jungle, there were visible gaps around the door, so insects, flies, and outside air could easily get into the room. Even my bag ended up full of insects.

The bathroom was also not working properly at first and had to be fixed after we arrived. Communication was poor as well, since we had to message through WhatsApp and responses were always very slow.

On top of that, the food was terrible. Dinner was very bad, and breakfast was extremely limited, small, and not tasty at all.

Overall, this did not feel like a comfortable or well-managed hotel, and it was completely different from what the reviews suggested. We were not satisfied and would not recommend it.

Merci à Bhagya et Saliya pour leur accueil chaleureux, toujours disponibles et soucieux de prendre soin de nous. Une chambre à couper le souffle, absolument sublime décorer avec goût en parfaite communion avec la nature grâce à ses grandes vitres qui l'entoure. Le cadre de cet établissement est paisible et totalement déconnectant, comme la sensation d'être dans un havre de paix au coeur de la jungle à deux pas de cette grande ville qu'est Kandy.
Je recommande cette expérience de lieu unique. 🙏🏻

Pros:

Wie das Hotel gebaut ist. Man ist gleich am Dschungel und hört da die ganzen Geräusche aus dem Dschungel.

Cons:

Leider ist es halt wirklich etwas abgelegen.
Wir hatten das Hotel auch ausgesucht um Wäsche zu waschen. Leider boten sie diesen Dienst dan doch nicht an.
Außerdem fehlten auch andere Sachen wie Süssgetränke und gewisse Speisen.

Pros:

A beautiful hotel in a relaxing edge of forest location. Refreshing fresh water pool. The bedroom was huge over looking the forest, with grey hornbills tapping on the windows at their reflection.

Cons:

It’s not as mentioned central to town. It was a 10 to 15 minute tutut ride. It’s called a hotel, but don’t expect a stocked bar. We drank them out of beer and we only had 2 cans of Lion ha ha !

Pros:

The hotel was really beautiful and the staff extra nice! Pool was cool and we really enjoyed in the middle of the jungle.

Cons:

It was quite hard to get a ride to the city. Had to wait for a really long time to get tuktuk. Staff helped which was great but f.ex. über wasnt working.

Unfortunately disapointing
Pros:

They offer a good take a way breakfast in case you’re leaving early

Cons:

The location, was hard to reach or get back to town by tuktuk. Staff didn’t speak English that well. The quantity for the evening meals was too little and also had to wait too long. And they didn’t clean my room while I was staying there for 3 nights

Séjour absolument parfait, correspond bien à son prix!
Pros:

Magnifique hôtel avec excellent emplacement, buffet aussi gargantuesque que bon ( petit déjeuner et dîner) pour un prix plus qu’acceptable.
Piscine propres et agréable, chambres nickel. La petite odeur d’humidité est habituelle dans les pays tropicaux donc pas de panique! Salle de bain superbe.
Personnel adorable et aux petits soins.

Cons:

Les bus de touristes… parfois bruyants et « envahissant » en salle à manger comme autours des chambres..
