A beautiful hotel. Really impressed with most things.
Our private room with an outdoor swimming pool was very dirty and was not cleaned for the entire week. We couldn’t use it most of the time.
The air conditioner leaked all over the table that we had to leave our things on. Maintenance came once but the problem continued.
There were some bugs/insects in the room including ants, centipede etc. we had to get rid of.
House keeping did not leave us any new soap to wash our hands after the first night and we were in the hotel for 6 nights.
One of the main receptionists (blond haired lady) was a bit rude sometimes and didn’t appear to listen to anyone. She just talked over guests and is quite bossy and abrupt.
The night staff did not help us when we asked for ice or drinks for our room and were unhelpful about this.
The day bar staff and breakfast staff are all excellent and lovely, however,

My wife and I felt this was an excellent hotel offering great value for money. While it doesn't have sea views, the location is convenient, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the pool area was a great place to relax after a day of exploring.
The breakfast offered a good variety of options, and our room was fantastic, complete with a private plunge pool which was a real highlight of our stay.
There is very little to fault. The only drawback is that it is around a 20-minute walk to Mykonos Town, with steep hills and limited pedestrian pathways along parts of the route. As a result, having a car is highly recommended. Alternatively, be prepared for Mykonos' notoriously expensive taxis, which can cost around €30 each way for a journey of only 1.5 km.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mykonos.
A bit more vibe, but its not a complaint, they have only 30 rooms so not enough guests to give it more energy.

The breakfast was beyond impressive! As someone who appreciates healthy and protein-rich options, I was thrilled by the variety and quality offered, including the delicious à la carte selection included with the meal. Angela (Aggeliki) and Marios provided fantastic, attentive service every morning, making breakfast a daily highlight.
In general, every staff member at Axel is remarkably attentive. They have a true gift for hospitality—they literally anticipate your needs the moment you look up!

Our stay at Axel Beach Mykonos was honestly one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with great architecture, modern design, and everything exactly as shown in the pictures. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The pool is simply amazing, we loved spending time there every day, whether to relax or just enjoy the atmosphere.
The location is also perfect: just about a 15-minute walk from Mykonos Town, making it easy to enjoy the city while staying somewhere peaceful.
But what truly made this place special was the staff. Every single person, from the reception team to the breakfast staff and the bar, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. They didn't just provide great service; they made us feel at home. It's rare to find a team where every single person contributes to such a positive atmosphere, and they truly made this stay unforgettable.
I honestly can't think of a single negative thing to say about this hotel. Thank you to the whole Axel Beach Mykonos team for making our holiday so special. We can't wait to come back!
