Pros:

My worst hotel experience, never again

We stayed one night at Estival Park Marena as a stopover from the Netherlands to Spain. On the website, it looks like a beautiful and well-kept hotel, but in reality it’s an overwhelming mass tourism machine. Far too big, far too crowded, noisy, and impersonal.

The only positive point: our renovated room was clean and looked nice. Unfortunately, my worst nightmare happened here – I lost my most precious possession: a small stuffed cat from my grandmother. I accidentally left it behind in the bed. While it’s my own responsibility to keep my belongings safe, I contacted the hotel immediately, but it was extremely difficult to get in touch and no one was able (or willing) to help me. In such a massive hotel, with rushed housekeeping, I can’t help but feel it was simply lost in the chaos.

Staff seemed used to handling huge crowds – efficient but cold, more like robots following rules than people offering hospitality. Breakfast was chaotic, the dining hall felt like a factory, and the surrounding area is extremely touristy and not charming at all.

If you like mass tourism and don’t mind zero personal touch, this might be for you. For me, it was a huge mistake to ever book here. Never again.

En cualquier hotel se sale a las 12 y no a las 10 de la mañana y encima el día de la salida a las 8 de la mañana ya estaba la tele desconectada, después nadie nos explicó que en el bufé solo entraba el agua
