I liked staying somewhere else!
I'm not sure if this negative review is of the hotel or of Booking.com or both. The hotel cancelled our confirmed reservation the day before our arrival. We were going to the city for a large conference. As such, getting another hotel the day before was difficult. We ended up using Airbnb - which was successful, but cost more. According to the stipulations of the hotel and Booking.com, we would have had to pay for the first night's stay if we cancelled. But, the hotel cancelled. Where is our recompense? I ended up paying more for the stay in an Airbnb, but at least they honored the reservation.
