予約した金額と支払った金額が違ってた。
The river views.
No signage to area. The little available is not visible. We got lost terribly. GPS wasn’t helpful. Muddy area for parking. Too expensive for the service. Food items on menu not available. Do not charge for meals upfront. Guests miss your own stipulated times and no refunds.
Upholstery on seats torn- long time ago.
Das Zimmer ist sehr groß und schön mit Blick auf den Fluss. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist lecker. Bootstour und Safari starten direkt am Hotel. Die ganze Anlage ist sauber und freundlich eingerichtet.
Leider kann man nur Vollpension buchen. Wir hätten lieber Halbpension gehabt.

I very rarely write reviews, unless they particularly stick out for some reason but this was very disappointing.
$$$ It’s so so so over-priced $$$.
I’d deliberately booked here as they said they accepted cash yet when I arrived they said they didn’t… after having driven three hours over potholed roads I didn’t want start looking for a new place to stay so sucked it up… but for $225 I expect a lot lot better… the shower was erratic, weak spray, either very hot or very cold.
They couldn’t make up the numbers for the river boat from 3 to 4 so rather than say, ‘it’s ok we’ll do it anyway (after you’ve paid $225)’ the boat didn’t go out at all… I thought that was cheap. (I ended up crossing the river to another hotel and they took me on their boat… amazing sunset experience!!)
The food was really average.
I don’t mind average food, lousy shower, average hospitality when I’m paying $50 but not at this price.
This is a really great lodge that is in a fantastic location for Liwonde National Park. The room overlooked the river and the restaurant provided really tasty food. We took a boat trip and were rewarded with seeing elephants playing in the water.
A little unclear about what time boat trips may or may not happen, the one we were going on got cancelled and replaced with a different time last minute and we were lucky not to miss it!
Beautiful location. Mornings overlooking the river was amazing, with the sun rising.

The location was perfect, the facilities was perfect. Thr boat safari was good. Boat is old. The food was not to my taste or liking.
