Good stay, but...
Pros:

- Staff were friendly and attentive, particularly with booking a taxi to and from the airport
- Good range in breakfast (in restaurant)
- Great location in terms of accessing public transport - one bus takes you an hour to get to Mdina
- Club Lounge was OK
- Room was clean
- Rooftop pool had great views of St Juliens
- I felt somewhat safe as a female solo traveller

Cons:

- Surprisingly small spa facilities, it was a bit underwhelming and disappointing considering I picked this hotel specifically for it's spa facilities
- The Spa (massages etc) in the hotel is booked through a third party and it was absolute chaos trying to book a massage - but I eventually managed to get it resolved
- There are a lot of buildings works happening in that area, so don't be surprised to wake up to the sound of drilling
- The light in my room occasionally flickered and the air conditioning made very weird noises which made it hard to sleep

Highly recommended.
Pros:

The staff was exceptional and super friendly (special thanks to John Shivam), and the rooms were new and comfortable. They even offered me a free room upgrade. Highly recommended.
