Managed by a private host
The hotel staff are friendly from the gate guards to restaurant and rooms.
After commenting and complaining on the breakfast offer, the next day they immediately adjusted the problem.
- The receptionist was very rude and impolite. She even stole a balance refund from my friend.
- Our toilet door locked itself and we didn't get help with another room on replacement.
- Hotel walls are full of humidity and old paintings
- rooms don't have a mosquito net
I didn't like anything because 1st the location of the hotel is not the same location on Google and booking.com app. The hotel is located far in a slum area
It's entrance is just at the maram Road very dusty I didn't stay I had to look for another accommodation.
I liked the location
The wi-fi can be better.and the room service.
The location on the map was completely different from the actual location.
The staff were very flexible about the arrival time, I reached there very late but paying and moving into my room was no issue. I also booked super last minute but it went extremely smooth! The bed was comfy, the location was nice and if you're there for a bit longer they have a sauna and spa!
Sadly there was no warm water and in my room was a constant vibrating sound like from a generator, that was a bit distracting.
The location of the place is great as it is in the suburbs of Kampala so a little bit separated from busy Kampala.
The breakfast was amazing and they had very good customer service. The room was clean, the bed was very comfy and a good size. The area isn't too noisy at night as well guaranteeing a peaceful sleep.
For the price I expected certain perks, but there was no wifi, you couldn't change the channel on the tv and I certainly didn't appreciate the fact that they put me up in a room where I had to climb 6 flights of stairs despite being on the heavier side (They probably did it for my benefit but my knees were shot and it was only one day)
Looks nice and the desk girl was nice.
Breakfast was poor.
No drinking water in the rooms.
Mold or mildew growing on the wall.
Extremely loud due to street noise.
Everything, the food was great, the staff were always super accommodating and helpful, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the manager/owner of the hotel Mr Sam was very friendly and helpful to my family and I, drove us to church and back, he told us about the activities we could go on to in the area, overall he was such a great help to us on the trip.
A filling and interesting breakfast every morning to get the day started with a great assortment to choose from, green tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and the food was always well worth it.
The rooms were always clean and comfortable, the bathroom was clean too which my family and I really appreciated and there was hot running water which was great too. The surrounding is clean and beautiful, we enjoyed going out to the garden after breakfast.
We absolutely loved our trip and we can’t wait to go back to Ubuntu Palace Hotel on our next trip to Uganda
So many stairs but manageable, my family and I got used to it pretty quickly.
The location was a little difficult for my driver to find for the first drop-off. The facilities are okay for the price. The open shower/bathroom takes a bit to get used to. Single-menu choice breakfast is a definite no-no. The area is relatively quiet and peaceful, at least during my stay it was.
Breakfast and shower bathroom.
