Everything, staff were excellent, amenities were lovely, breakfast was delicious. The location was also perfect, super close to Mdina.
Nothing, a lovely stay

We had a huge room, which looked and felt luxurious. The whole building was tastefully decorated. We had access to a small courtyard, which was nice, as well as the rooftop terrace with hot tub. The breakfast was good quality. The location was great, very close to the Mdina.
The breakfast room was quite small and a little tricky to negotiate when there were several tables in use.
Maison Medina is a beautifully appointed boutique hotel in Rabat which is a short walk across the park to the silent city of Mdina. The room was very spacious with lovely fittings and a very comfortable bed and sofa area. Every detail was considered and there were thoughtful touches such as the bottled water and biscuits provided. Linen and towels were fresh and of a high quality. One of the real highlights of this property was the way in which you were welcomed by the staff and, in particular, Anita. She was so friendly and hospitable, greeting us with a coffee and a tour of the room's features and the other parts of the property. The breakfast, prepared by Anita, was a generous and extensive continental style breakfast with good coffee. The property is well positioned for exploring the lovely town of Rabat as well as the ancient city of Mdina.

An excellent choice for some days.
We had a room on the top floor with terrace. Nice to sit outside for a wine or coffee.
The AC makes it comfy in summer. Shower is really good and the host spends a lt of effort that you feel good. Ok - you need to like the color gold :-)
For the size of the place and the low maximum possible guests, it is a huge variety for b+fast what is offered. Not possible to go out hungry.
In the top floor the mattress is pretty soft. So, if you yiou are used to sleep on a metal plate or floor you should maybe ask in advance how the mattresses in the other rooms are.
