If you're looking for a small, intimate boutique hotel with real character – this is the place. This high-quality little hotel is located right in an authentic Hutong neighborhood, offering a rare and charming glimpse into local life.

The design and courtyard – the rooms are beautifully decorated in Asian style, and the inner courtyard is simply a work of art. Every corner invites you to sit, relax, and drink tea.
What makes the experience truly perfect? They treat the chubby cats wandering around the courtyard as part of the family. Watching them nap in the shade is pure joy.

The staff – they don't speak English, but they make up for it with great communication via various apps (translation, WhatsApp, WeChat). They are attentive, help with everything big and small, and do it all with a smile and warm hospitality.

Breakfast – excellent! A perfect mix of Asian and Western. My personal favorite: seaweed soup with meat-filled dumplings – absolutely delicious!

Great location – 15 minutes slow walk from the main shopping avenue, 25 minutes slow walk from the entrance to the Forbidden City. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops right around the hotel.

Bottom line – I enjoyed it so much that at the end of my Beijing trip, I came back for an extra night just to stay here again. Highly, highly recommended! My score: 10 out of 10. 🐱🏨

Maravillosa experiencia boutique
Pros:

Hotel boutique que conecta la naturaleza con la cercanía a la ciudad. El personal muy atento siempre, responden rápido y tratan de ayudar de la mejor manera, incluso con las limitaciones del idioma.
Me encantó que tengan vestuarios de época para sacarse fotos.
El baño súper limpio, moderno, con wc japonés. La tinaja para relajarse luego de las visitas a la ciudsd, es un plus.
Tienen buffet de desayuno, así que se puede probar distintas cosas locales o sino, te gusta arriesgarte, hay opciones más occidentales.
Cuentan con una pileta con pececitos y sus gatitos mascotas, le dan un entorno más hogareño y amable.
Sin duda me quedaría nuevamente en el lugar.

Cons:

Tuve problemas con filtracciones de humo de cigarro a mi habitación por la ventilación. Un problema general de China es lo que fuma la gente, incluso dentro de las habitaciones. El personal siempre muy atento, intentó ayudarme para solucionar el problema de olor, así que en ese sentido, fue solo un detalle que pueden mejorar.

A perfect stay!
Pros:

Lovely staff who were happy to help. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, a small sanctuary away from the busy city life. The hotel room was very comfortable and the choice of two pillows was a nice touch. We loved our stay and would recommend!

Cons:

Nothing, our stay was flawless.

Je déconseille cet hôtel.
Cons:

Les photos de l'hôtel ne correspondent pas à la réalité de plus de la moitié des chambres . La majorité n'ont pas la vue sur la cour avec jardin mais sur un couloir extérieur bordée de mur assez haut fait de petits troncs d'arbres ( c'est la vue des chambres rez de chaussée ) et à l'étage , toutes les chambres ont un vis à vis parfait, donc aucune intimité ! D'autre part , la cour avec jardin n'offre que deux tables de disponible .Avec environ 50 chambres , impossible d'en profiter car jamais disponible . Préférez l'hôtel Jingshan Garden qui n'a seulement que douze chambres donnant toutes sur une très jolie cour intérieur dont on peut profiter .Nous avons d'ailleurs annulé l'hôtel Dasein Youlan à notre retour à Pékin pour séjourner dans cet hôtel Jingshan .

This place gave off an old world charm but with modern amenities. Location was great!
Pros:

Location was great, close to the shopping district, places to eat and good coffee!

Cons:

There was no surface in the bathroom to put our clothes, sink was used for toiletries and cosmetics - a few hooks to hang our stuff would have made all the difference.

Hotel très mignon, parfait pour un court séjour et parfaitement adapté aux étrangers.
Pros:

- Le personnel parle anglais, c’est très rare à Pékin, c’est donc très apprécié.
- Le personnel est très accueillant.
- Le jardin est magnifique et relaxant.
- Le moyen de paiement Visa/Mastercard fonctionne parfaitement pour les étrangers.
- Le style zen des chambres était sympa, avec une grande baignoire.
-Hotel très bien situé

Cons:

- Le petit-déjeuner pourra être amélioré, peu de choix par rapport à d’autres hôtels moins chers que j’ai fait à Pékin.
- Chambre assez petite et pas de Bureau. Ce n’est pas un problème pour le tourisme, mais si c’est un voyage professionnel, ce sera moins agréable.
- Les prises électriques nécessitait un adaptateur pour prises Françaises. J’en avais un donc pas de problème, mais les autres hotels ont généralement les prises directement compatibles.

Cet hôtel est idéalement situé et le personnel nous a été très chaleureux ainsi que très professionnel. Ils sont très réactifs que ce soit via booking ou WeChat. La cour intérieure est intimiste et agréable bien que dans un quartier très très vivant !

Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et très varié. Toujours quelqu'un pour vous guider et vous informer :)

Pros:

We loved our stay! While we didn't pay for the breakfast package, we ended up eating breakfast every morning at the hotel. The room is great, the staff are friendly, and the courtyard (with cats) is a great break from the hustle and bustle of Beijing. We will be recommending the Dasein Youlan to all of our friends.
