Hotel itself was good, dont go to the pool
Pros:

The room was comfortable and clean, location close to the airport. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

The pool and spa area does NOT look like the photos. The showers were disgusting, with mold and dust on the walls and air ducts, we went in and out inmediately. Very badly mantained.

Lovely hotel very poor pool facilities
Pros:

Hotel itself and room is lovely. Nice shower and comfy bed. Hotel is very 5 star

Cons:

The property advertised a beautiful looking pool. The reality is like a horror film. It is outside the hotel area down to the basement into a strange looking area. The changing rooms are really grim and smelt of urine and the pool was not very nice we left straight away. The photo of the pool must be many years old. Very disappointed as we specifically booked for the pool so I would not come back for this reason.

Nice place, nice staff
Pros:

Definitely heating. I traveled to Beijing in 26-29DEC in wintertime and the heating here is very helpful. The location is not an ideal place for travel purposes, far from the center, and i cannot reach the metro station despite around 800m away, because of the cold. I chose the bus instead, and it took only 200m to bus station, anything else is good!

Great stay with Fantastisc gym
Pros:

Best gym i have ever experienced, a top class master gym with all machines and free weights. Fantastic

Cons:

Breakfast starts 06:30, I was leaving for the airport 06:30. The fantastic night shift personnel made my a nice bag to go. Top class service, super friendly

Convenient
Pros:

The hotel's location is near the CEIC (Chaoyang Area) and so was beneficial for me. The hotel has all the necessary amenities. The room was clean and the amenities in the room were apt. The breakfast was sumptuous - local fare primarily - and provided a wide choice. The concierge Team was awesome and very friendly.

Cons:

I had an issue with communicating due to my language - Apple Translate utility helped a lot, but couldn't help in phone conversations with room service and housekeeping.
The room service food was bland for my taste.
The hotel had a foreign exchange conversion ATM - would accept only demonination of 100; not the best rate and a RMB 30 charge for every transaction.
