Saint Artemios Boutique Hotel

We stayed for two nights in this gorgeous boutique accommodation in the heart of the Old Town. Since taxis can’t enter the Old Town, they sent a golf buggy to pick us up from one of the main gates, a thoughtful and very convenient touch. The hotel is tucked away in a lovely private cobbled courtyard, with its own entrance and a quiet outdoor space perfect for breakfast or simply relaxing.
Our room was beautifully designed, spacious and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Maria looked after us so well, preparing breakfast each morning and providing beach towels for our sea swims. Even though our stay was short, it felt much longer thanks to the central location — we were able to wander the Old Town and enjoy several sea swims.

We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Marianna, who was warm, fun and great to have the chats with.

All the staff were equally lovely and friendly, and they even arranged a golf buggy to bring us back to the main gate when we were leaving.

A small and modest boutique hotel, but truly charming and full of character. Perfectly located right in the heart of the old town. The rooms are simple yet comfortable, offering a peaceful retreat with plenty of atmosphere. The courtyard is lovely — a perfect spot to sit and enjoy breakfast and the staff was kind and helpful, .

Das Hotel ist eine Oase der Ruhe mitten in der Altstadt, mit einem wunderschönen Innenhof zum Verweilen. Beim Frühstück kann der Gast wählen, was er gerne essen möchte, und es wird im Innenhof serviert.
Unser Zimmer war riesig, mit einem superbequemen Bett und einem wunderschönen Bad. Auch sonst ist die Einrichtung sehr geschmackvoll, man fühlt sich dort sehr wohl.
Ein grosser Pluspunkt ist Marianne, unsere Landlady. Sie hat für uns tolle Tipps für Restaurants und Aktivitäten gegeben und uns nicht nur mit Rat, sondern auch mit Tat unterstützt, indem sie z.B. die Autovermietung angerufen hatte für uns.

Kleines Hotel mitten in der Altstadt in einem ruhigen Viertel. Tolles Ambiente mit sehr schönem Innenhof (zum Frühstücken), direkt hinter einer kleinen Kirche. Sehr freundliche und individuelle Gästebetreuung.

Breakfast was delicious but the hotel property is rather basic for the price.
The two ladies who work there are extremely helpful, pleasant and work so hard in all aspects of their jobs.
The breakfast as I said was delicious and Maria was so on top of all the guests travel plans.

An oasis in a busy town. Just lovely. Felt very welcome and comfortable

L'hôtel est idéalement placé pour séjourner au centre ville en étant au calme. Il comporte peu de chambres. Le jardin est très agréable et vraiment typique des vieux murs de Rhodes.
Les chambres sont spacieuses et très bien décorées. Elles sont d'une propreté exemplaire.
Le petit déjeuner est copieux et à la demande. Il est servi par des personnes très sympathiques et consciencieuses.
Tout le personnel est d'ailleurs très accueillant. Nikos est venu nous chercher à la station de taxi à 2 heures du matin ! Car notre avion avait deux heures de retard. Au retour c'est encore lui qui nous a appelé un taxi. Il se déplace avec une voiturette de golf pour éviter le transport des valises sur les pavés des petites rues étroites de Rhodes. Il est très à l'écoute des demandes et répond automatiquement aux messages.
Je recommande vivement !

Peaceful retreat in busy Rhodes

The backyard is magical. The location is very close to the main part of the old city but extremely quiet and peaceful.
The host was welcoming and warm.

In the middle of the old medieval town

The hotel is beautiful, tucked away just back from the centre of Rhodes old town. Once you step into the cobbled courtyard it feels like a little oasis with trees, plants, chairs, benches and sun loungers for guests to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The room was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated, with a comfy bed, lovely toiletries in the bathroom and a great shower. The staff are lovely, welcoming and super friendly, the breakfast (served in the courtyard) was delicious. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others

There are a number of these old converted properties, at different standards, in the Old Town. You have your room that opens into a private courtyard where the big breakfast is served. The room was functional, could do with furniture being updated, room is not huge because the property is original but it served its purpose. The hostess and team were delightful and very helpful. Despite the Old Town being absolutely full with tourists and tourist tat, the property was quiet. It's surrounded by narrow cobbled streets and the town retains much of it's charm of 700 years ago, but such a shame it has been ruined by endless tourist shops and restaurants. The new town and harbour are walkable. We escaped by going on boat trips and hired a private car with driver to tour the much quieter south west of the island for a day, which is definitely to be recommended, especially if you enjoy the history, because here you'll be able to explore almost unhindered.

The location in the old city is excellent, close to many shops, restaurants, and museums. The ancient buildings are impressive. The owner and the staff are pleasant. The house has everything you need. Daily cleaning is provided, with bed linens and towels changed regularly. There’s a kettle in the room for coffee. It’s nice to sit on the terrace and enjoy the blooming and delightful garden (the rich and tasty breakfast is served there). Everything is pleasant and aesthetically pleasing. Highly recommended!
