Good value for money and a beautiful location
Pros:

Staff was very positive and nice. Hotel is peaceful, there is only about 10 rooms and the beach in front of hotel is quiet also.

Beds are comfortable and we had a fridge in our room 👍

Beautiful place if you appreciate peace and guiet location in a beautiful settings.

Cons:

African lifestyle for european is sometimes difficult. Everything works pole-pole, slowly, and usually food preparations or any other seevices take over an hour. This is good to know 😊

The location was great.

Cons:

Our villa was not clean on arrival and had a strong odor of cat urine throughout our stay. This improved slightly during the stay but even on the last morning, we woke up to the smell. The villa was sparsely furnished, with only a sleeper couche in the lounge. We did not have a washing machine, tumble dryer or coffee machine even though it was advertised that this would be available in the villa. Shower curtain rails were broken and tied to the ceiling with wire. There were holes in the wall with electric wires visible. There were limited options for breakfast, none very good and portions were small. Fresh milk was not on offer unless you asked. Lunch and dinner was expensive for what you got. But ultimately it was the smell of cat urine that I will now forever associate with Zanzibar...

The service from the staff and management was top notch. The view from our room, room service and the drinks. Enjoyed all the food and their freshly made juices.

Great stay - fab beach!
Pros:

The staff are amazing - especially Shuna at the front office. We arrived early and she was welcoming, gave us a room and was generally brilliant. She made us feel very welcome.

Loved the Sea front- the beach is exquisite - I loved the lounging chairs by the pool too,

Cons:

Breakfast was measured up eg English breakfast did not have bacon and baked beans was a spoonful / it may help to offer eg fruit when an item is missing.
