Pros:

Die Lage war sehr gut , Zimmer waren groß mit ausreichend Platz. Wir fühlten uns dort und der Umgebung sehr sicher.
Wie leider alles ist auch dieses Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen - aber es war in Ordnung

Cons:

Die Koffer mussten wir selbst in den ersten Stock tragen - es gibt keinen Aufzug.
Das Frühstück war überschaubar, aber das was es gab war in Ordnung.

El edificio del hotel es una casona colonial muy bonita, lo cual se une a una habitación muy amplua y limpia. En la habitación habia un surtidor de cristal de agua.

Friendly staff, big rooms, great location and quiet.
Pros:

Big rooms, good service from staff. The front door is locked and you are buzzed in (feels very safe). Breakfast is basic but fine. Great location for walking to restaurants and tourists shopping. Quiet location.

Cons:

Reliance on solar means if there is not much sun then not much hot water. Not really an issue because it’s not very cold there.

Pros:

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The location was at the edge of the tourist area, so it was convenient, but also quiet. We would recommend staying here.

Great location and breakfast, in a historic building.
Pros:

We had a great stay, one night before and one night after our visit to the jungle. Breakfast was awesome, with lots of options and nice, strong coffee. The building is beautiful and location great, as it's central, but still peaceful and quiet.

Cons:

The beds are relatively hard.

Great Stay in Iquitos
Pros:

Great location downtown just off the malecon. Not far from restaurants, museums, and main plaza. Breakfast was served in nice dinning room with your choice of eggs. AC worked great which is appreciated during the hot and humid days. Secure entrance with front desk buzzer.

Cons:

Not hotel's fault at all; but there are many street opportunists trying to sell travel packages, natural mosquito repellent or fetch a commission on just about anything! Avoid their advances politely and pick up items needed at the belen market with the help of a trustworthy guide before heading off on your Amazon adventure.
