Restaurant menu limited
Rooms a bit small. Very difficult to get 2 people sitting in window area to appreciate the wonderful sea views.
Patio doors (instead of bay window) leading outside to the flat roof area would have enhanced the views and comfort.
Amazing breakfast and super service. Staff were so attentive. Went out of their way to help. The views are stunning!
Windows in restaurant/bar could do with a clean as the views are the jewel in the crown!

Staff were friendly and generally helpful, good location and comfortable beds.
That you can't even order a sandwich for lunch from the restaurant, unless you order afternoon tea 24 hours in advance.
The elevator is useless, the doors kept opening and closing, which isn't much fun when you have heavy suitcases to move up and down the many staircases.

Good location in the town. Walkable to the beach, town, supermarket, car parks and attractions.
Saturday afternoon DJ in the restaurant/bar/reception. Very loud which you could the thumping of the bass in our 4th floor room. We found out that the hotel was hosting a local radio station for a broadcast and launching a Rock festival. We would not have chosen the hotel if we knew this beforehand.
Location, patio overlooking castle beach, recent renovation
Room was tiny - a single room with a double bed. Bed recent but not so comfortable. We had to take it in turns to get changed! Weirdly the safe was under the bed, the room was so small

Having to check out
Lovely room with a sea view. The staff were excellent and knowledgeable. My wife had sustained a fall a few days before, and I was able to amend my booking to have a room o the first floor which was a big help even though it was Easter weekend. Breakfast was excellent. Check out was quick and easy with an accurate bill. Would highly recommend, and will return.
