The evening meal on arrival wasn’t great after a 6.5 hour journey that should have taken 3 hours. Chef seemed to love deep fried food which wasn’t to our taste.
The room was not as described on booking.com. Very small & not like the picture. No fridge as in picture. Not the superior room that we paid more for.

The location was superb and exactly what we were after. The twin room was large and ideal for two grownup siblings.
The location is excellent. The hotel has undergone a really good refurbishment and it is dog friendly.

It’s a walk to the car park, but totally worth it!
Good location right on the sea front. A few minutes walk from the main st but far enough away to feel quiet. Nice views overlooking the sea. Comfy rooms, nicely decorated.
Expensive for what you get, even in high season. Outdoor patio was a little sad and unkept looking which is unfortunate given the amazing location. Very small portion of eggs and salmon for breakfast which was not. Included in the room rate.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 1st/2nd floor with a sea view we paid for which was lovely. We had a big bay window with two chairs which overlooked the patio and the beach. The air con worked well and we were provided with water daily and tea and coffee
Modern bathroom with shower
The breakfast could be improved with choice, location of coffee machine (up a corner) and some days the quality of cooked breakfast was better than others. For the money paid I thought it could be better.
Within the bathroom the floor had two cracked tiles which moved which I reported to reception
At times unmanned bar led to slow service.
Patio very busy on Saturday which was nice but music for me personally was too loud
Perfekte Lage direkt am Strand und absolut zentral. Zimmer zwar nicht topmodern, aber gut in Schuss. Gutes Frühstück, schöne Terrasse direkt über der Bucht. Sehr Freundliches Personal.
Der Lift ist recht zickig und gibt schnell an überladen zu sein, obwohl er eigentlich gut funktionieren würde.
The rooms have been refurbished. Much better than the past. Beds are not the most comfortable. Our room had air conditioning which is a big plus, your paying for the location this aint the Savoy its on a par with any good local B&B or independent hotel.
The food service was utterly rubbish, sorry to be blunt. The restaurant either had no staff or no chefs. Over an hour each morning for breakfast to arrive and when it did it's quite possibly the most rubbish plate of breakfast you will ever get. Honestly the premier inn buffet is a massive win over this. Don't pay for breakfast included go out into the town and get fed properly. This is not just us, all the customers were talking to each other comparing how long they had been sat waiting and then laughing at the food coming out. Dinner not much better.
