Do not be fooled by the pictures. It’s dingy and dirty, zero amenities. There was coffee maker with no coffee powder provided, no towels in bathroom to wipe hands, bed is not a twin it’s single. Rooms are tight!!! There’s plenty of other options in the area. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS
An amazing spot to stay.
Great service and amenities
Friendly staff, great amenities and multiple services/parties.
Unfortunately the whole hostel was freezing when i arrived, there was no heating but thankfully when i turned on the hotplates it warmed up a little. The 1st night i got up to a flood in my room, although we weren't sure where it came from.
The walls are very thin and on the 2nd morning someone started banging on something early in the morning and it was still going on when i left for the day.
One of the staff knocked on my door on my last night to tell me I'd not paid, luckily i had the receipt on my phone.
There was a sauna but when i went and had a look at it to warm up, it wasnt very hot so gave it a miss.
The good stuff - the staff were as helpful as could be, esp considering Jose, the caretaker, didn't speak any English. And the location is very good for the old town, museums and tours.
