This hotel puts allot of effort in to their guests stay. Beautiful traditional breakfast, live music of an evening, and a meditation session run by a Tibetan master. The rooms are just lovely. Excellent value. A highlight of our stay in Beijing.
Its an old traditional Chinese house converted into a hotel. I like the traditional looks.
Great friendly service. Nice room. Nice spa. Very relaxing.
A wonderful traditional style hotel. Staff were very helpful and the location was excellent - close to shopping (including 7-elevens), restaurants and attractions. Breakfast was healthy and adequate. Overall a great stay!
Had a pleasant stay here. The staff were really helpful. They even assisted to extend our stay for 2 more nights due to unpredictable flight rearrangement! Thanks for that.
Extremely clean and modern with a lot of amenities--big stone bathtub with hot water, excellent A/C (though hard to moderate, but it keeps you cool!), good room service every day. Very pretty grounds. The wi-fi is terrible, though, so don't expect to be able to do much of anything with it. (Prepare for data roaming.) Decent breakfast every day. Not too far from Forbidden City and Jonshin Park (1.5 miles; not a bad walk.) Very helpful, friendly staff. Welcome gifts.
A peaceful retreat and spa-like setting at the heart of the city. Lovely!
Cute hotel snugged in an alley. Friendly staff, good breakfast.
We loved this hotel. This is a new hotel on Expedia so we were hesitant on booking initially. The hotel was recently renovated but is well known in Beijing. We will be staying here next time.
Overall, I think the property is like a small sanctuary within the city. The rooms are decent and it's obvious that the property chose to invest in several things while compromising on others.
E.g., the hairdryer and kettle are from reputable brands. The sauna is also a good addition. It also has a smart toilet.
However, instead of a proper closet, they only have a single standalone structure for you to place your clothing. It also doesn't have a suitable stool to place your luggage.
Breakfast is decent but it's almost exactly the same everyday so it can get quite boring after awhile.
Personally, I think the location can be better. We chose this place because we wanted to try staying in a Hutong but, honestly, not sure whether it's better than just staying along Wangfujing.
It’s a very nice and lovely hotel in centre of Beijing, it’s our favourite hotel now compared with some other hotels we have booked in the past years when we stayed in Beijing.
The courtyard where you can relax and rest is a big plus point and also the bathroom is very nice.
The staff is very helpful and nice.
