Location is a little way out of Nkhata Bay, but was quiet and by the lake.
Be aware that there are power cuts so aircon and showers do not always work. Solar back up keeps the lights on
Situated on lake shore so easy to swim. Not too. Many steps.. could have loud music at weekends.
Ideal place to stay for a couple of nights before going on north or south.

The view
Noisy guests, very late at night in the bar that should have been shut and that unfortunately the staff couldn’t control. Not really their fault.
Die Ndau Lodge ist toll; ich hatte wenige Meter zum (kleinen) Strand mit dem kristallklaren Wasser des Malawisees; die Lodge hat nicht viele Zimmer, daher ist alles ziemlich familiär; der Oberkellner (?) Sheriff im Restaurant weiß definitiv, wie Restaurant geht (und Kundenbindung!); die Rezeption organisierte für einen sehr akzeptablen Preis ein Taxi; das Zimmer ist toll, die schmale, aber ausreichend große Terrasse war - mit Blick auf den See - mein Hauptaufenthaltsort. Wer entspannen will, ist hier richtig ...

Clean facilities, beautiful waterfront, great staff and good food
It is on the lake
Right on the waterfront. Restaurant served good food. In close proximity of the town if you have your own vehicle. Staff friendly and helpful.
There was a bit of confusion about the pricing as we stayed a night extra to our booking. Courtney sorted it out and all was good in the end.
The balcony felt a bit precarious as there is no railing but could easily be fixed.
Modern rooms and a nice setting with the bar below, next to the beach. Very attentive staff and overall a great addition to the Bay.
