The location
A reggeli egy étlapról választható volt összesen 6 tétel fejenként. Kávé, fekete tea, üdítők, rántotta, kétféle lepény, zöldségek, gyümölcsök, méz lekvárok stb. A reggelit és a vacsorát is a tetőteraszon a helyszínen készítették. A személyzet mindig nagyon kedves és családias volt, mindenben segítettek. A következő napokon már fejből tudták, hogy mit fogunk kérni! :) A tetőteraszról a felső szintről csodálatos a panoráma a piramisokra és a városra. A vacsoránál nem kaptunk tájékoztatást arról, hogy mi az ami benne van a félpanzióban, így utólag derült csak ki, hogy pl. a pizzát külön rendelik máshonnan, és azért külön is kell fizetni. Nem volt drága egyébként, csak nem volt világos részünkre. A piramis bejárat kb. 200 m-re van, át lehet sétálni a bejárathoz 5 perc alatt. Közelben sok üzlet, kisbolt, ajándéktárgyak taláhatóak. A szomszédban van a városi rendőrség, ez még nagyobb biztonságérzetet adott. Nagyon tetszett, hagy a napfelkeltéket és naplementéket a teraszról végig lehetett nézni, ami a piramisok mellett nyugodott le. Rengeteget fotóztam. Érdekes volt fentről nézni a város pezsgését, mindennapját. Összességében jól éreztük magunkat a Hotelben, a városban uralkodó állapotok, szemét, kosz, szegénység és gazdagság kontrasztja stb. nekünk egy kicsit furcsa volt, de itt ez a normális, meg kellett szokni. Volt egy nap nagy homokvihar is, az nagyon érdekes volt, még sosem láttam ilyet.
A szobánkban a francia ágy elég kemény volt, a kétágyasban már sokkal kényelmesebb. Az ablakot nem lehetett teljesen bezárni, a reggeli szomszédos rendőrségi zajok, készülődések behallatszódtak, egy kicsit zavaró volt. Úgy hallottuk, hogy felújítás előtt áll a Hotel, tervben van a modernizálása, nyílászárók cseréje.
L’hôtel dispose d’un roof top avec une vue exceptionnelle. Ils ont un restaurant qui fait de excellent plat. Il propose également des excursions fantastique avec un conducteur au top. Le personnel est au top et d’un gentillesse. Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour.
Everything! The location, the service and staff were beyond exceptional. The staff made you feel like family, and now my forever friends. And God, that view!😍 I can’t wait to go back!

The bathroom drain is clogged
Nice hotel in the heart of Giza. We stayed at Jimmy Pyramids Hotel for 3 nights and had a great time overall. Slight mishap with our driver on the first night as he failed to pick us up from the airport due to a mix up but the staff’s hospitality more than made up for it. Jimmy also arranged alternate transport for us that night and checked in regularly to ensure we were en route. The rooms were cozy but comfortable and we especially loved the breakfast mezze which is served on a rooftop that overlooks the pyramids. Thanks for everything!

Das Frühstück auf der Dachterasse ist toll, vor allem da man währenddessen den vollen Blick auf die Pyramiden hat.
Durch die Lage (und Kulturschock) ist man zwar erstmal geschockt, aber nach ein oder zwei Tagen empfindet man Kairo dadurch viel besser.
Dir Lage des Hotels ist durch ihre Nähe zu den Pyramiden direkt im Problemviertel von Giza. Außerdem befindet man sich direkt neben einer großen Polizeistation, was beim sowieso schon gestörten Sicherheitsgefühl nur bedingt weiterhilft.
Während das Hotel und dessen Mitarbeiter alles tun, damit man sich wohl und sicher fühlt, können sie hier nur bedingt etwas dagegen tun.
Tagsüber kann man mehr oder weniger problemftei durch die Gegend bewegen, wir würden aber empfehlen, spätestens mit Sonnenuntergang wieder ins Hotel einzukehren.
The location is amazing, you can see pyramids from the rooms and the rooftop. The breakfast was really good.
The restaurant was poor of offerings and we waited a lot of time before getting the only two dishes available from the menu, and they turned out to be not really good. Room’s bathroom was small and outdated

Unfortunately, the room we had booked was not available on arrival. We were then taken to another hotel with very little explanation. I felt that the staff should first have asked what criteria were important to us when we chose this hotel and this particular room.
The alternative room provided was far from satisfactory in terms of noise, location, and overall atmosphere, and it did not suit our preferences at all. After seeing it, we decided that the original room at this hotel was the better option and returned. This whole process took several hours and caused a significant delay to our plans.
There was no change in the room rate. We had to suggest that the hotel arrange taxis to and from the museum we had planned to visit, which they eventually did.
While an apology was offered, time is extremely valuable when travelling. We had been very much looking forward to our stay, so this experience was deeply disappointing.

The location of the establishment. It's dodgy and I didn't go out at night because I didn't feel safe.
Das sehr freundliche Personal war stets bemüht die Wünsche der Gäste zu erfüllen.
Das Frühstück war frisch und sehr lecker, das man à la Carte bestellen konnte.
Die Sicht vom Zimmer auf die Pyramiden ist gigantisch. Auch das Frühstück geniesst man mit Sicht auf die Pyramiden, absolutes Highlight!
Super Ausgangslage um das neue Ägyptische Museum sowie die Sphinx und natürlich die Pyramiden zu besuchen.
Die Gegend ist eher laut, da direkt gegenüber vom Hotel die Polizeistation ist. Auch scheint da eine Reitschule vor dem Hotel zu sein. Für Ruhe suchende ist es eher nicht geeignet.

Le personnel ne c’est pas occupé de nous ,service repas nul repas très médiocre et très long nous avons les boissons 1h après notre arrivée et le repas environ 1h30 cuisine faite par un petit jeune dans 3 mètres carrés pour finir je suis allé chercher des pizzas et sandwich, car j’avais très fin,
le petit déjeuner local , le café filtre Melita, un vrai jus de chaussette j ai payé très cher pour prestation médiocre
As a solo traveller I was a little nervous arriving in Cairo but from the minute I arrived I was made to feel like family with all the Jimmy’s. The location is 3 minutes from the Sphinx, the views from the rooftop are sensational. All the staff from the reception to the kitchen are so friendly, and they arrange all the tours for you. My tour guide was very knowledgeable, and really made my trip. I’ve stayed at 5 star hotels in Cairo but this was by far the better experience. I can’t wait to return.
